Weebill Lab - please get the time-lapse working, it doesn't fire correctly and only moves partially (example, for 30 photos in motion time-lapses with 1 second interval, it will end after 30 second but only says 3/30 on the progress bar and despite screen flashing three times, no photos on the memory card) Sony A7R2 — however it does move through the sequence correctly when movie is selected under the movement time-lapses... bizarre.

Tracking should keep the object in same position relative to the frame. Also please smooth out movement during tracking. Much appreciated.

I just got a Smooth 4 gimbal and I’ve been playing with the app over the past few days. It’s a great device but the app needs work. Tracking barely works, as everyone knows. Most other features seem to work fine (haven’t tried everything yet) and I love using hardware buttons and knobs on the device instead of tapping onscreen. The sharing and editing side of things are very confusing. But I can live with that. What I don’t understand is that sometimes, when I start the app, it’s locked in portrait mode with a totally different interface. Buttons are different. There are more available functions but they are accessed onscreen not via hardware buttons. The way the Bluetooth connects is baffling—it’s fast but impossible to know where to click to connect. It’s so annoying that something so cool and well thought out is crippled by these (and many other) absurd bugs. I’m still keeping mine and sending ZY lots of prayers and strength to improve!

This app has great potential for enabling users to create beautiful pre-programmed time lapses, but why can’t we just input our time lapse/projectory photography settings and let it do its thing without having to leave the app open on our phones? You’d think the app and gimbal would be smart enough to memorise a couple of programmed positions and wouldn’t need to be connected to the app the whole time, but instead you can’t even turn your phone off while shooting time lapses that are hours long. Very disappointed that there’s no idle time lapse feature that would allow us to use our phones for other things while the gimbal fulfills the time lapse.
