iPhone Duo • Full support for iPhone Duo: when you open the inner screen, the board takes one half and the game panel the other — held like a book or set on a table. • On wide screens the tabs move into a sidebar. New look • A refreshed design across the app with the website's colors: home screen and new game setup, tournaments, puzzles, training, games, ratings, profiles, statistics, lessons, game review and sign-in. • Settings and account forms now use native iOS lists. Fair play and safety • Before your first game against other players, you accept three simple Fair Play rules. • You can report a profile or a lesson and block a user. Blocked authors no longer appear in the lesson catalog. • Settings now has a list of blocked users and support contacts. • Improved security for sessions and online games.

Lessons • New Lessons section in the Training tab: your own lessons, a public catalog and lessons opened from a link. • Each lesson shows the board with the author's arrows and highlights, notation with variations and comments, and chapters. • "Find the move" exercises: the board won't accept a wrong move, you can reveal the answer and see your progress as you go. • Share a lesson with a link. Fits any screen • Games, game review, puzzles and training adapt to the window size: in landscape or a wide window the board sits on the left and the panel on the right. New look on iOS 26 and later • Sheets now use Liquid Glass. • A new app icon that adapts to dark, tinted and clear Home Screen styles.

Game review • A dedicated review screen: step through the moves, position evaluation, accuracy, move classifications and the best move, opening detection and an evaluation graph. • Export a game to PGN with annotations and share a link to it. • Reviewed games are now marked in your game history with a badge showing your accuracy. Languages • Added Ukrainian, Uzbek and Simplified Chinese — the app now speaks 15 languages. Also • Sign out and account deletion moved to Settings. • Fixed how three-digit places are shown on the leaderboard.

New: • Email/password and Google sign-in — all sign-in methods are now available on the login screen, not just Apple. • Confirmation screen after email registration — instead of showing an error in red text, the app now displays a separate “Account Created” screen with the email address and a button to return to login. • Invite a friend to a game — you can now invite a friend to play: send an invitation from their profile, view incoming invitations in the inbox on the home screen, see a notification badge, and automatically jump into the game when the invitation is accepted. • Build/version number in profile — the app version is now shown at the bottom of the profile screen: on dev builds, the build number is displayed; on prod, the marketing version is shown. Fixed: • Push notifications: no extra move banner is shown if the game is already open on screen; the push token is correctly removed when signing out; notification permission and the APNs token are restored more quietly and reliably between app launches; the app icon badge is cleared when returning to the app. • Leaderboard — the “Leaderboard” section stopped loading because of a database record with an empty name; these players are now correctly shown as “Player.” • Duplicate screen when opening a friend’s profile — when opening a friend’s profile from the “Leaderboard” or the “Friends” list, the profile opened with a duplicate navigation transition, requiring you to tap “Back” to get to the right place. Navigation has been fixed.

The app now handles poor network conditions and switching between the background and a game more smoothly: games no longer “freeze,” connection issues show a clear error with a “Retry” button, and computer moves no longer hang for a long time.
