GolGrid 2.0 Clans You can now create a clan or join an existing one. Clans can be open, approval-based or invite-only, and each has its own badge, tags and chat. Ask your clanmates for cards and donate cards to them; donating earns you coins and experience. Cards, packs and your squad Winning matches earns you packs. Packs contain player cards: more than 800 cards in four rarities. Collect copies of a card to upgrade it. New cards unlock as your cups grow. See all your cards in Collection, then pick a formation and build your XI in the Squad tab; chemistry rises when players from the same club, league or country line up next to each other. There is a daily reward for signing in every day. Blitz A new solo mode: in 60 seconds, name players who match the club, country, league and position prompts. Each correct answer is worth a point; a wrong answer costs a point and a short wait. Your squad helps here: forwards give a streak bonus, midfielders extra time, defenders a shorter wait, and the goalkeeper forgives a mistake. If you leave the app during a run, the run ends. Clan wars Every weekend clans compete in groups of 5 to 7. The leader or a co-leader signs the clan up on Friday; on Saturday and Sunday each member gets two Blitz attacks a day and can earn one more by watching an ad. The clan's ten best attacks count. The top two clans win a Champion Pack, clan score changes with your rank, and your clan climbs the Bronze, Silver and Gold leagues; higher leagues mean bigger war packs. You need at least two attacks in a war to earn a pack. New home screen The bottom bar now has five tabs: Collection, Clan, Play, Ranking and Profile. Your level, coins and pack slots are on the home screen. You can open other players' profiles to see their squads and badges. New badges were added. Notifications You get a notification when a pack is ready and when a clan war starts, when the day's attacks are about to expire and when the war is ending. You can turn notifications off in your phone's settings. Updated player data Every player's career was checked one by one. Summer 2026 transfers are in and club order was fixed. Clubs a player joined but never played for were removed, and missing clubs were added. Fixes In the Club–Club Duel, the club your opponent typed in the current round no longer shows early. Cup standings now also show matches and wins for the top three.

GolGrid 1.28 Monthly cup seasons The online modes now have a new race every month. On the 1st of each month everyone's season cups restart from 0, and matches against bots count too. On the cups screen you can switch between this month's season and "All Time", and see how many days are left. The cup badge on the home screen shows this month's cups. The standings screen was redesigned too: a season card on top, the top three on a podium, and your own rank pinned at the bottom. The cups you have collected since you started are kept, and matchmaking still uses them. Season rewards The top 3 of a season carry a medal in the standings and next to their name for the whole following month, and the top 100 get a gold ring around their avatar. The "My Seasons" section on your profile shows where you finished each season. Finish a season with at least 100 cups and your wins earn double season cups in your first 10 matches of the next one. Board choice in friend rooms When you play a friend, you choose the board: Easy, Medium, Hard or a single league (Süper Lig, Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1). The choice travels with the invite, and rematches use the same board. Fair play During an online match, leaving the app, splitting the screen or opening another app on top of it counts as a forfeit after a few seconds, and your opponent sees it right away. Screenshots are also blocked while a match is in progress. Richer, more accurate data More than 600 new players were added and squads were updated. Every World Cup, European Championship and Champions League winning squad since 1988, plus earlier legends such as Pelé, Beckenbauer, Platini and Gerd Müller, now have the right trophies. Over ten thousand players with a missing nationality now have one. Clubs that appeared under two names were merged, and athletes from other sports were removed. Hundreds of players got a photo. Search and Who Is Famous players now come first in player search. Team search in Who Is gives a single, correct result, and the players you are asked about now cover younger ages too. Small additions and fixes The Daily Grid now requires signing in, so every score reaches the leaderboard and your streak is kept. Free Grid can still be played without an account. The feedback screen has a new "New mode idea" type. Matches played with an invite code now tell you on the result screen that they do not award cups. Several crashes were fixed.

GolGrid 1.27 Round limit in duels Duels now last at most 10 rounds. If nobody has reached 3 points after round 10, the current score decides the match, and a tie ends in a draw. The header shows which round you are in, and you get a heads-up before the final round. Typo-friendly search Can't remember exactly how a name is spelled? Typing "lewandoski" still finds Lewandowski, and "manduzikc" finds Mandžukić. Results for correctly spelled names are unchanged. Quick chat The message you send now appears on your side as a bubble, with a check mark once it reaches your opponent. Your opponent's messages appear as bubbles too. Messages no longer disappear silently when you tap too fast: the options fade out during the short cooldown. Friends When someone accepts your friend request, a notification appears at the top of the screen. In search, players who are already your friends are marked as such. After signing out and back in, your friends list, invites and your friends' online status show up right away. Rematch If your opponent leaves after the match, you see it right away instead of waiting for a rematch that will not come. The button changes to "Find New Opponent". Fixes Fixed invites that sometimes failed to open the match, the welcome tour closing immediately on first launch, and several crashes.

GolGrid 1.26 - Friends are here: search by nickname, add them, see who's online. - Invite a friend to a match, and add your opponent when the game ends. - Quick chat in duels: talk without typing. - Turns are now 20 seconds; the countdown is a ring that turns red for the last 5. - More familiar clubs on the boards.

GolGrid 1.25 - Matchmaking fixed: players who couldn't find an opponent now match. - Choose your bot's level: easy, medium or hard. - More variety on the board: many more clubs, plus Ajax, Porto, Benfica and Sporting. - Turns are now 15 seconds.

GolGrid 1.24 - Trophy balance fixed: at least +15 on a win, at most −25 on a loss. - Rematch is here: play a friend again with one tap — no new room, no code to share. - 1,400 missing footballers added. - The trophy table now shows the top 100. - The Daily Grid refreshes at the same moment for everyone; timers fixed. - Fixed a crash during online matches.

GolGrid 1.23 — Skip in duels, return to unfinished matches, and a trophy data fix - "Skip" arrives in duels. You can pass a round you don't know and move on to the next one; the round closes without points and the match keeps flowing. This came from a player's store review. - You can return to an unfinished match. Closing the screen no longer forfeits the game. On iPhone the edge swipe gesture used to drop you out of a match silently: the screen closed but the match did not, your clock ran down and the turn passed to your opponent — so you lost on time in a match you could not get back to. The gesture is now caught and you are asked before leaving. - Trophy data is fixed. Champions League, World Cup and Euro winners were missing; a player reported it through Marco Asensio. Champions League winners went from 135 to 1,097, World Cup from 70 to 213, and Euro from 42 to 192. Cells asking for a trophy winner now accept the right players. - The streak repair offer now appears once a day. The window used to reopen every time you returned to the main menu. The decline button also says what it does now: "Lose Streak". - Closing a rewarded ad early no longer costs you the round. Dismissing the ad by accident used to end your day in Daily Grid, and since Daily Grid is played once a day there was no way back. The offer now stays open so you can try again. - Daily Grid, online matches and duels now require an internet connection. This fixes a real defect: a Daily Grid played offline never reached the server, so you finished your day but never appeared in the standings — with no warning at all. Practice Grid, Tic-Tac-Toe, Impostor, Career and Who Is? continue to work offline. - Fixed a crash. The app could close when two players made a move at the same time in an online match, during quick matchmaking, and when trying a nickname that was already taken. - Stability and infrastructure improvements. GolGrid 1.22 — a much bigger player pool and accuracy fixes - The player data has been rebuilt. The pool is now 35,065 players, 4,443 clubs and 24 leagues, with thousands of new player photos. 20,110 missing club links were added. In practice: the squares where you knew someone had played there are far more likely to be accepted now. - Squares that marked your correct answer wrong are fixed. The career scan added the club but only sometimes recorded the league; missing league tags have been filled in for 4,903 players (6,770 tags). You will notice it most on league-by-league squares. - Player names have been audited. All 35,065 names were compared against the source, corrupted entries were cleaned up and players shown under the wrong name were corrected (Marius Sumudica, for example, was listed under his middle name). Players known by a single name, like Zico, can now be found by the name people actually search for. - The hardest tier is now called "Impossible". The Japanese, Scottish and Austrian leagues were also removed from that tier's pool on recognisability grounds — they no longer appear as row headings or as answers. - 12 new badges, and a banner drops in the moment you earn one. Achievements used to be visible only on the profile screen, with nothing happening at the moment you unlocked them. The new tiers give long-term goals: 500 games, 100 wins, a 50-day streak, playing every mode. - Sideways swiping now works both ways. You could swipe from the home screen to Profile or Cups, but not back; now you return the same way you came. - Transitions between screens are smoother. Entering a game mode opens with depth, Profile and Cups slide in as the pages either side of the home screen, and information screens arrive with a short slide. The motion tells you where you went. - Long text is no longer cut off. Some buttons and option strips had a fixed height, so when the label wrapped to a second line that line was clipped ("Vs. Bot" was showing half-height on some phones). On narrow screens and with larger text sizes the box now grows instead. - In Impostor, while typing names, the keyboard's "Next" key jumps to the next player, so an eight-player setup no longer means closing the keyboard and tapping the box below after every name. - When you offer a draw against the bot, the answer no longer comes back instantly; the bot now takes a few seconds to "think". - Stability and infrastructure improvements. GolGrid 1.21 — a new home screen, sound, and fixes - The home screen has been reorganised. The game modes are now four colour-coded boxes — Tic-Tac-Toe, Player Guess, Nation & Club and With Friends; tap one and that group's games slide up in a panel. The daily puzzle stays pinned at the top and your cup standing sits in the header badge. No more scrolling through one long page. - Tic-Tac-Toe now shows you what happened on the board itself. A wrong answer flashes red and shakes the square, a correct one bursts a ring out of it, and the result line under the board is colour-coded. That includes your opponent's wrong answers online — until now they were only mentioned in a line of grey text. - English mode names now read "Tic-Tac-Toe" instead of "XOX", which meant nothing outside Turkish. - Sound effects actually play now. The "Sound effects" switch in the menu did nothing on iPhone; you now hear a square being filled, a win, and every tap. If you are playing your own music it keeps going — the effects sit on top. - Added a daily reminder. An evening notification nudges you to solve the puzzle, and it stays quiet on days you have already played. Permission is asked the first time you finish a daily grid. - Online matches now have draw offers and resignation. In all three online modes (Tic-Tac-Toe, Nation-Club, Club-Club) you can offer a draw from under the board; if your opponent accepts, the match ends level. Resigning asks for confirmation, because it cannot be undone. - Your score can no longer go negative. Slow rounds with lots of wrong guesses could show things like -2300; the floor is now 0. Practice Grid included. - In Tic-Tac-Toe, when neither side can win any more the match ends in a draw right there. No waiting for the leftover squares, no questions that cannot change the result. Same rule against the bot and online. - The leaderboard now has a back button at the top, and you can swipe sideways to switch tabs on the cup standings and the daily leaderboard. You used to have to scroll all the way down to get out. - The banner ad is smaller, leaving more room for the board. - Buttons that looked like they did nothing now tell you what happened. - Yesterday's Answers only claims "most picked" when there is enough data. - Backing out halfway through deleting your account no longer costs you your nickname. - The player data has been refreshed. Summer transfers are in, 587 players' club histories grew, and 60 broken records that marked correct answers wrong are gone. - Stability improvements. Enjoy the game!

GolGrid 1.20 — fixes - The language button now works instantly: pick EN or TR from the menu and the app switches on the spot. - The round that won a duel closed before showing the answer. Now the final round reveals the player who scored it, photo and all. - The cup badge could say it failed to save even when your cups were saved. They always counted — now the badge tells the truth. - Steadier leaderboards: rows no longer shift around when the list refreshes. Enjoy the game!
