Courses: learn flags, capitals, internet domains, phone codes and alphabets on a path, unit by unit. • World: every flag and every capital. • Street View countries: flags, domains, phone codes and the letters on their signs. • Lessons get harder as you learn — from four answers to naming a country from its first letter. • A lesson counts as one of your 5 free games a day; Flags Pro is unlimited.

• Find on the map: after a miss the map zooms in on the spot you tapped, so you can see how far the country is – the next flag brings your view back. • Rate Flags straight from Settings. • Small fixes.

Today, at the top: the daily challenge, the route of the day and the time trial in one card, each with your standing and one Leaderboards button. • Find on the map is now a practice mode next to Classic, Blitz and Mirror. • Time trial names every country you find. • A proper welcome after joining Flags Pro, with your first-charge date. • Fixes for iPhone SE and larger text sizes.

Fix: micro-states such as Monaco and Vatican City can now be found with a fingertip at close zoom.

Global daily leaderboards for the daily challenge, the route and the track are now live in Game Center.

Two new ways to play — on a real map. • Find on the map: see a flag, tap its country. Every miss shows how far you were and which way to look. • Route of the day: ten flags, the same for everyone, with medals for accuracy and speed. • Track of the day: a 15-flag time trial with sectors, best laps and a crown for a clean lap. • Daily leaderboards via Game Center for the challenge, the route and the track. Days now switch at 00:00 UTC, so the whole world plays the same set. • Welcome gift: 3 routes and 3 laps on the house. Finish them all to earn a streak shield.

Flags now speaks 9 more languages — Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Czech, Slovak, Romanian, Vietnamese and Thai. 27 in total. Plus small polish under the hood.
