Siri can now do a lot more in SmartBP. Log your blood pressure without typing: Siri asks for your top number, bottom number and pulse, and you can add a tag or a note. You can also ask for your last reading or your average for the past week or month, add a note to your latest reading, or say "Log My Medications" to mark the doses that are due now as taken. The Home screen now shows your latest readings right on the Summary card. There's also a new measurement guide that walks you through 7 simple steps for an accurate reading. If you've been signed out, a new card helps you sign back in so your backup and clinic sharing pick up again. Your streak no longer ends after the 28-day challenge, so you can keep it going week after week. Log on at least 5 days of each 7-day streak to earn a free week, up to 4 free weeks in all. The heart rate card has a simpler layout. Its chart key now shows the range for each line, and the Min-Max band has a new color that's easier to read. iPad now works in both landscape and portrait. Dark Mode gets a new dark launch screen and brighter Lifestyle colors. Premium members will see refreshed cards and a crown on their profile, and sync dates now follow your region's date format. New users also won't see full-screen ads during their first 30 app opens. We've also fixed several issues. Lifestyle goals check off automatically from Apple Health again, the notes and correlation screens no longer flicker, and Compare A & B stats stay up to date after you change filters. In our latest update, SmartBP introduces 7-day AI-powered insights based on your blood pressure readings, tags, notes, lifestyle, and other relevant context—helping you better understand and manage your blood pressure. You can also add these AI summaries to your Lock Screen as widgets. We’ve also fixed several iPad-related issues and made additional minor improvements.

In the latest version of SmartBP, we added Bluetooth support for iHealth blood pressure monitors, improved connectivity with supported monitors - especially the A&D UA-810 and UA-910, enhanced Japanese localization throughout the app, fixed localization issues in Tag Manager, added a setting to disable rating and review prompts, and improved the activation of lifestyle goals.

This month, we celebrate 14 years of SmartBP, and we are truly grateful to all our users and supporters for trusting us as part of their health journey. In this update, we’ve introduced new systolic and diastolic heat maps for deeper blood pressure analysis, improved the top navigation experience on the History screen, and added Bluetooth connectivity support for A&D UA-810 and UA-910 blood pressure monitors. We’ve also enhanced the pregnancy blood pressure tracking experience, improved iPad UI layouts, and added support for tracking heart rate from Apple Health syncs on iPad. Additionally, this release fixes an issue where expanded horizontal charts were not rendering correctly, adds PDF report preferences on iPad, resolves an issue with updating active medication schedules, fixes persistent rating prompts appearing even after a rating or review was submitted, and includes several performance and UI improvements.

In our latest release, we’ve addressed a potential issue where blood pressure readings may not sync with Apple Health on iOS 26.5. If syncing does not resume automatically, you may need to manually toggle the Systolic and Diastolic Blood Pressure permissions for SmartBP in Apple Health settings. We’ve also made improvements to the Lifestyle section of the app.

We’ve resolved an issue that prevented data from being shared from history on older iOS versions.

In our latest update, we’ve added the ability to copy your data for analysis. We also fixed an issue in the Watch app where weight was being double-counted, restored the missing back button on the cloud signup screen, and resolved several UI issues affecting the onboarding screen and smaller devices such as the iPhone mini.

We’d like to thank our amazing community of users for the incredible feedback shared over the past few weeks following our recent UI updates. We truly appreciate your patience and continued support. In this version, we’ve fixed several issues including date/time not refreshing when the app remained open after adding a record, tag and AM/PM filters not working properly, and accessibility text clipping. We’ve also improved manual blood pressure data entry with better visibility, a modern experience, and clearer tag selection during entry. Additionally, the bottom navigation bar now collapses while scrolling to create more screen space, and we’ve restored the ability to add weight before entering a blood pressure record. Automatic system-based light and dark mode appearance is now also supported.

In this update, we’ve resolved several issues and introduced important improvements. We fixed a problem where the date and time were not resetting after adding a measurement, corrected weight units not syncing properly between the phone and Apple Watch, and addressed an issue where the Watch app was not appearing in complications. We also fixed onboarding screen clipping on smaller devices such as iPhone mini and improved the overall onboarding UI. Push notifications now appear correctly in Notification Center, and Mean Arterial Pressure (MAP) charts are now properly included in PDF reports. We’ve added the ability to customize weight and blood pressure record associations. For users who do not need to closely monitor their weight, BP records can now be associated with a weight entry within a 30-day window. Navigation in the Profile and Health Summary views has been improved, and we’ve introduced a new HRV vs. Systolic/Diastolic analysis chart so you can better understand the relationship between HRV and your blood pressure. Additionally, HRV is now displayed for the selected day in the Home heart rate summary charts, and you can customize PDF reports to include or exclude analysis charts.

In this version of SmartBP, we improved how tags are displayed when adding records, enhanced the heart rate card with several updates- including a Today/Yesterday selector and automatic axis scaling, added a safeguard popup to prevent accidental weight-unit changes, refined date and time formatting in CSV exports, fixed several UI text issues, improved localization across all languages, introduced a rewards program for all users, and resolved a few cloud-sync–related crashes.
