American & British Accent Toggle
A new accent switch in Settings (under voice preference). Pick American or British and all English audio follows your choice. Tapping the UK pronunciation now correctly plays British - and respects your male/female voice setting too.
Smarter Pronunciation
UK IPA now shows next to US on thousands more words.
Voice selection never plays the wrong gender anymore (e.g. female British now stays female).
Sharper Search
Exact words now rank first - type "Lag" and you get Lag, not "Jet lag".
Cleaner translations for Chinese compound words (no more "politics Degree" oddities).

Expanded Digital Lexicon: Added 26 highly prevalent terms related to gaming, internet culture, technology, and major social media platforms to the dictionary database.
Translation Accuracy Enhancements: Resolved translation fallback errors. Entries that previously defaulted to English now correctly display their accurate localized equivalents.
English Text-to-Speech Enhancements: Corrected a playback routing error affecting regional accents and implemented a persistent, application-wide toggle for selecting curated American or British voice profiles.

Verb tense awareness. Type ran, running, was, making — the app tells you it's the past tense / -ing form of run / be / make, and shows the base-word entry. Covers 150+ irregular verbs and most common regulars.
Pronunciation + grammar. Word entries now show UK and US IPA pronunciation alongside part-of-speech tags (noun / verb / adjective). Tap an IPA to hear it.
Related expressions. Every word card lists real dictionary phrases containing that word — tap to jump straight to those entries.
"Don't confuse with" warnings. Look-alike pairs like naval ↔ navel, affect ↔ effect, desert ↔ dessert are surfaced as tappable warnings.
More everyday vocabulary. Added math, geometry and science basics (square, circle, distribution, atom, gravity), plus everyday words that were missing (weekdays, colors, numbers, family terms, emotions).
Faster app launch. Trimmed the startup bundle in half; app opens noticeably quicker.
