This is a major update for iOS/iPadOS 26 users. • The design has been updated for Liquid Glass. Navigation between photo grids has now moved up to the navigation bar, removing an entire layer of navigation from the app. • You can now write entries and comments using a rich-text editor which lets you choose bold and italic text as well as create links. This all works seamlessly with Blipfoto itself. • Many small tweaks and improvements under the hood.

Addresses several smaller issues, found primarily on iPadOS 18.

• Adds the ability to edit your own journal entries. • Adds the ability to report an objectionable journal entry to adminstrators. • Adds the ability to report a user to administrators.

Among several smaller quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes: • If you posted a comment after using the calendar to navigate, it may have looked like your comment was not saved. It was, but the entry did not bother to reload. Now it does. • If you looked at a tag and tried to show an entry from there, the navigation became very confused. It has now been set onto the straight and narrow path.

Bugs fixed: • On iPad, the Welcome screen would reappear on every app switch. One might say that it... overstayed. • Comments would sometimes fail to render. The offending view has been restructured a bit in order to make it more predictable.
