Das Library
Your Reading Hub & Journal
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Track books, build streaks, and keep a reading journal. Now with classroom features for teachers and students. Available in 10 languages.
Das Library is a comprehensive reading companion designed to help users build and maintain a consistent reading habit while organizing their personal library in a structured and meaningful way.
The application enables users to create and manage their digital bookshelf by adding books through ISBN barcode scanning or title-based search. Books can be categorized into customizable lists such as currently reading, completed, and planned reads. Users can also rate books and maintain private notes for each entry, allowing for a personalized reading experience.
To support habit formation, Das Library includes a reading streak system that tracks daily activity and encourages consistency. Progress is clearly presented, helping users stay motivated and engaged over time.
A dedicated journal feature allows users to document their reading journey by saving quotes, reflections, and personal insights associated with each book. This creates a growing archive of thoughts and highlights that evolves alongside the user’s reading history.
The platform also incorporates an achievement system that recognizes key milestones, such as completing books or exploring different genres, reinforcing long-term engagement.
For educational use, Das Library offers classroom functionality. Educators can create and manage classes, share reading recommendations, publish announcements, and monitor student progress. Students can easily join classes באמצעות a simple access code, enabling structured reading activities within a collaborative environment.
The application supports multiple languages, including English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Arabic, Portuguese, and Russian, ensuring accessibility for a broad user base.
Secure authentication is available through Google and Apple accounts, with seamless synchronization across devices to ensure that users can access their library anytime, anywhere.
Das Library is suitable for readers of all ages seeking a structured, reliable, and engaging platform to organize their books, develop consistent reading habits, and reflect on their reading experience.
