DES Energy is a software platform for managing electric vehicle charging stations.
The DES Energy App uses location-based services to allow drivers to easily find, access, and securely pay for EV charging. Drivers can search for and locate electric vehicle charging stations based on location, station ID, availability, power level provided, and accessibility.
Start charge sessions simply by scanning QR codes or entering the desired station ID in the app.
With the DES Energy electric vehicle charging app, you can also:
• Monitor your current charge sessions in real-time
• Get phone notifications as soon as your EV is finished charging
• Make secure payments
• Favourite locations that have easy access to your commonly used EV charging stations
• Receive an email receipt of your EV charging transactions
• View a history of past charging sessions
• Report drivers that abuse charging station use

New Features
Pre-authorization amount is now displayed for all payment methods (Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal), not just credit cards. Updated error message when pre-auth fails to show the required amount.
Station search from the location page now searches by EVSE ID
Chatbot conversations now include additional metadata for improved support context

Fixed multiple issues with QR code scanning, including incorrect screen navigation, missing login flow on scan, and compatibility with older QR code labels
Fixed reservation timeslots not generating for private stations
Fixed Station ID field requiring a double-tap to open the keyboard
Fixed "Find a Station" button not functioning consistently on the Charging History page
Fixed a pre-auth failure message incorrectly appearing during keyfob ordering
