Ham Logging

Master Ham Radio QSO Logger

Free

Ham Logging is a comprehensive QSO logging app for amateur radio operators. It serves as a master log that syncs with the most popular ham radio platforms — LoTW, eQSL, ClubLog, QRZ.com Logbook, HRDLog.net, CloudLog, Wavelog, N1MM Logger+, and more — so you keep one log instead of juggling many. KEY FEATURES • Full ADIF 3.1.4 import and export with spec-correct UTF-8 length prefixes • CSV and JSON round-trip backup across every stored field • QRZ.com lookup with auto-search, profile photo, and local cache • 21 logging-service integrations: 10 with live API, 11 export-ready • Incremental sync — never re-uploads what you have already sent • Bidirectional LoTW / eQSL / ClubLog / QRZ / CloudLog / Wavelog • N1MM Logger+ UDP bridge on your local network • Rover Mode: large-target, voice-dictated callsign entry for mobile operating • POTA, SOTA, WWFF, contest, and propagation-mode fields with dedicated UI • Per-QSO QSL card export — themed, code-rendered PNG • Monthly and yearly statistics with shareable bar-chart images PROPAGATION AND MAP • World map with great-circle bearing lines to every worked station • Gray-line terminator overlay with aurora layer (NOAA OVATION) • 24-hour MUF prediction with band openings • PSK Reporter + WSPR path prediction heatmap • Live solar terrestrial data and band-by-band DX potential • Unified Spots tab — DX cluster, POTA, and contests in one place PRIVACY-FIRST • No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no third-party tracking SDKs • All QSO data stays on your device — sync only happens when you tap Sync • Microphone permission is used only by Rover Mode voice dictation; audio is processed by the operating system speech engine and never recorded or transmitted • Local-network permission is requested only if you configure the N1MM bridge DARK MODE + ACCESSIBILITY • Theme-aware throughout — every dialog, panel, and chart respects dark mode • Font-scale slider for global text sizing • Tips & Tricks — 100 rotating contextual hints, toggleable from Settings Built solo by Yousuf AL Balushi (A46UNX) — Unixeer. Designed for the amateur radio community to simplify QSO logging and synchronization across multiple services.

GMA the new way, cqGMA log upload with corrections, the name under every reference you type, a map for every spot, APRS messages, four more ways to reach your radio, and your own QSL card background. GMA SPOTS GMA spotting now uses GMA's new interface — the old one answered every spot with an error, so GMA spots from 1.2.0 never arrived. There is no GMA login any more: GMA recognises the app itself. GMA takes live spots only, and a spot to several references goes out as one request. GMA allows one spot request a minute: a spot that finds the minute taken waits, then goes out on its own. CQGMA LOG UPLOAD cqGMA joins the logging services: enter your cqGMA login and Sync uploads every contact that carries a GMA reference — as activator, chaser or summit-to-summit. The New QSO page gains "My GMA" and "GMA Ref", stored in ADIF's standard SIG fields so other loggers read them too. A contact missing something cqGMA needs, such as an RST, is skipped and named — nothing is made up. A contact you edit after uploading is corrected at cqGMA at your next upload; one you delete, or take the GMA reference off, is removed there, and the delete window tells you first. If GMA does not take one contact, the others still go and the report names it. THE NAME UNDER A REFERENCE Type a GMA reference — in the Announce window or on the New QSO page — and a line under the box shows the summit's name from GMA's register; a reference GMA does not know is flagged before the spot goes out. A POTA reference shows the park's name from POTA's register. Under a SOTA reference the name comes from GMA's register and is marked "GMA data". It is a hint, never a block. GMA AND WWFF SPOTS Two new buttons on the Spots page: GMA shows Global Mountain Activity's own live spots and planned activations, WWFF the Flora & Fauna activators GMA lists. SPOTS ON THE MAP Every DX, POTA and SOTA card has a map icon beside the share icon. It opens the Map on that station, with bearing and distance from your QTH. Parks and summits use their own coordinates; a DX cluster position is only a region, and the map says so. With a QRZ lookup login, the tap asks QRZ for the station's own grid instead. RIG CONTROL Four new ways to reach your radio: FLRig, the FlexRadio SmartSDR API, Ten-Tec (Orion, Orion II, Eagle, Argonaut V and VI, Omni VII, Jupiter) and Alinco (DX-SR8, DX-SR9, DX-77). SATELLITES AND LOTW ADIF exports now name satellites the way LoTW expects — SO-125 rather than "HADES-ICM (SO-125)", the TEVEL2 satellites as TEV2-1 to TEV2-9. The catalogue follows the September audit: five satellites added, FO-29, AO-91, Tiangong, Taurus 1 and Lobachevsky corrected, and "ISAT" and "Sparrow" identified as D-STAR ONE iSat and Sparrow. QSL CARDS Pick your own QSL card background in Settings → Default Values: the picture is trimmed to the card once and kept on your phone, and the card's own colours lie over it so the text stays readable in both themes. × goes back to the standard design. APRS MESSAGES The APRS layer on the Map now carries messages: messages to your APRS callsign, on any SSID, arrive with an unread count. To send, add your APRS-IS passcode in Settings under the APRS Call — a number made from your callsign; get yours at apps.magicbug.co.uk/passcode. The APRS-IS server decides whether it is valid: the message screen says so while it checks, and names the callsign if it refuses. Messages are retried until acknowledged, and Ham Logging acknowledges only messages to its own callsign or your callsign with no SSID. SYNC The POTA, SOTA, WWFF and ARRL Contest cards on the Sync page now count and share only their own contacts; they used to share the whole log. The general logbooks still receive every contact. ALSO ADIF import and export keep the name of an activity as well as its reference. POTA and SOTA spot cards line up like DX. The Contests page has a Show box: All, Active or Upcoming. de A41UX 73
