Partners has three new ways to play solo: Open Hand, Across Table and Straights. Tablets and iPads: we now draw the table bigger. Home now fits big phones, and the bottom button no longer sits on the home indicator. The sow screen now shows who delivered the sow. Ranked: if you come back after being idle in a ranked match, we now tell you with a “You were idle” message. Online: if your sign-in lapses during a game, we now sort it out and carry on. Ads: where it's required, we now ask for your ad choices before the first ad. Deleting your account now also removes your Apple sign-in link.

Solo: fixed a game that could stop when you had no play. Your knock now always goes through. When you have no play, we now show “No plays — knocking…” while your knock goes through. Online: we now check that you're still in your seat, and fetch your hand again if it's empty or wrong. Rejoin after watching your own table now puts you back in your seat as a player, still ranked. Online: a domino you play leaves your hand straight away and no longer jumps back for a moment. If the round screen doesn't show at the end of a round, we now bring it back. Long chains fit the table better on smaller phones, with bigger dominoes. Leaderboards: outside the top 100 we now say “Outside top 100” instead of a wrong place, and “No matches this week” if you haven't played yet. If a leaderboard can't load, we now say so and you can try again. Solo Cup: matches with a game reset or a no-winner round now count on the board. Solo Cup: lose a Hard match but win at least one round and you still score a point. Ranked rules: a new step explains how Online Cup points work. Rules: the Match step now explains when a match ends in a draw. Tie-breaks: a tie-break that's played again now shows its “played for 2” message too. Chat: “wagwan” is no longer starred out. Two new songs added. Partners has a new game icon.

Two new slams. Double Tap swaps with Table Wrecker at random when you slam, and the Earthquake hits when your armed slam leaves nobody else able to play. Slams and sounds in step. Online, a slam now lands with the domino on every phone at the table, and we've put the game's sounds in step with what you see: one click for each domino as it lands, the deal ticks as the tiles go down, and a chime at the end of a round. Ranks by game. Cut-throat, Partners, 3's and French each have their own rank and their own Skill board, and a match moves only the rank of the game you played. Your Home badge shows your best. Table chat, redone. Messages, emoji and the text box sit together, and a new sticker button opens all the stickers in their own drawer. New "Try and play" sticker, plus two new emoji: crying and angry. Chat and stickers now fit every iPhone screen (the stickers were showing huge and cut off), and your own messages sit on the right in gold. Chat on time. Every message now shows its time and arrives in the right order, even when phones' clocks disagree. If a message doesn't send, it says so, and you can tap it to try again. Known issues. We can now tell you what we know about and what we're fixing: once on the Home screen, and any time in Settings. Report this game. Something not right in a game? Tap Leave, then Report this game, and we'll take a look. It's also on the match-end screen, and afterwards in Settings > About > Report your last game. Nothing is sent unless you tap Send report. Play without the app. Friends who don't have Island Slam can scan an Island Slam QR code with their iPhone camera and play a solo game, without installing the full game. Watch by code. Type a ranked table's code in Join Room to watch it. A short ad plays first, the same as tapping Watch in the park. Watching and want to go? Leave takes you straight out, and when the match ends we now say Thanks for watching. Ranked AFK. When you tap a ranked table, we now warn you if going AFK in that match would lock ranked play, and show what your next lock would be. The first lock is now 15 minutes. French. The tile you pick up now shows above your finger, so you can see which one you're holding. When a player gets a +10, it lands as a stamp on their seat before it goes on their score, so everyone at the table sees it, and so does anyone watching. Doubled or quadrupled round points show an x2 or x4. Sows. When a match ends in a sow, the sow screen now shows the game and the date and time it happened. Who played. On the Analyze board, turn on Who played and we colour each domino by the player who played it and number it in play order. The park. Open tables now sit at the top, with live tables below them, so you never have to scroll to find a seat. Cut-throat 3's. The waiting screen now shows three chairs, not four. Arrange hand by suit. Switch it on in Settings and your dominoes are grouped by suit, longest suit first, every time you're dealt or draw. When you play, the rest stay where they are. It's off until you switch it on. Leaving a finished match. Once a match is over, Leave takes you straight back, with no forfeit warning. Plus fixes behind the scenes that make online tables fairer and steadier.

Arcade is here: Cut-throat 3's and French - tap Arcade on Home. Tie-breaks: at 1-1 in Partners and 1-1-1 in 3's the next round is played for 2. A new slam that sends the whole table flying. Blocked hands now show who was out and why. Analyze the board at the end of every game. Partners: hand the pose to your partner, or choose who poses when your bot partner wins. 32 new characters to choose from. Smoother online play and many fixes.

Table talk: stickers, emoji and chat pop up at the table for everyone to see. Friends: add friends, message them, and invite them to a private table. Invites and messages arrive as notifications. Play ad-free for 10 minutes after one short video. Top 100 on every leaderboard, a Partners team leaderboard, and the Online Cup now shows countries. Ranked: vote to add a bot when three are seated, rejoin a match you left, and a Ranked rules guide. AI players are marked, the deal is faster, and a round of fixes.

New game: Partners — 2 v 2, partners sit across from each other, six love wins. Home is now your game selector, and every game gets its own hub, rules and leaderboard. Live tables: a match in progress stays on the park — tap it to see who's playing and watch. Lobby fixes: the host always sees Start, the turn timer can be 30s, 60s or off, and your lobby survives closing the app. Yard Veteran now counts solo games. Tougher CPU and a proper shuffle.

Ranked Park: see how many people are in the park looking for a game, with their names and flags, and talk to them in the new park chat. The home pill now shows who is in the park. The Cabinet is now the Hall of Fame.

Fixed: the domino chain could run off the bottom of the table and be cut in half by the border — the chain now re-lays itself the moment the table changes size. The tile size is now truly locked for the whole round. Fixed: the avatar picker would not scroll, so only the first nine avatars could be reached. Starting the app with no connection no longer throws an error; sign-in retries when the connection returns.

Nineteen new avatars. New badges: Clean Slam, Solo and Online Week Champion, Solo and Online Season Champion. Badges you earn again show a count, and milestone badges show your progress. Leaderboard ties now go to the player who needed fewer matches. Gold tier starts at 1,750. Fixes: on iPhone, sound could stay off after an ad until a restart, and the tile sound no longer has a second knock after it.

New: Seasons. Every quarter is a season and the Season tab is a league on weekly results, for the Solo Cup and Online, players and countries. New: the Cabinet on the Leaderboard — every country's titles, week wins and top-three finishes, and each season's leaders and champions. Every opponent now shows the thinking dots on their turn. Music and sound effects have their own button in the corner of the table, and sound effects are on by default (your own setting is kept). A heavier SLAM. Fixes: new matches sometimes showed the previous opponents' names for a round; leaderboard headings sit over their columns; leaving an online match no longer disturbs another player's move.

New: the Solo Cup — every solo win earns points (1 Easy, 2 Medium, 4 Hard, double for a clean 6-0-0-0 slam, +1 for sharp play), with a weekly board that resets Sunday at 3 am, a country board, and medals on your profile for the top three. The Online board is on points too, and Ranked has its own rating board. Eight solo opponents from across the Caribbean. The board lays out properly, tiles are bigger, and a solo match survives the app being closed. Sound effects (off by default), a cleaner Back button everywhere, and a Continue screen between rounds.

Ranked Park tables now deal the moment four players sit. A computer seat in an online room could stop taking its turn when the other players were quick — fixed. Mid-match ads in Solo vs AI now come after rounds 3, 6, 9 and 12, each after a short "next round" pause. Plus a fix for a finished game lingering behind the home screen.

Fixes a freeze in Solo vs AI where the game could stop right after the double-six was posed. Removes an error message that could flash on iPhone at launch. Share now sends friends to play.aluwi.ai. New "What's new" page in Settings.

A new-look table: bright white dominoes, name plates that show round wins with each player's tiles left beside them, a dealing animation, and a new layout engine that keeps the whole chain on the felt at one steady size all round - no more zooming or tiles running off the edge. Redesigned round-complete, champion, sow and ranked-result screens, a new profile with your streaks, slams and recent matches, and the game now tells you when an update is out.

A new look for the Sow and Champion screens, and a fix for the Create account page not scrolling.
