Based on modern pitch and key detection algorithms, Song Key Finder provides astonishing results. Great for bands, DJs, singers, songwriters, guitar and piano players, tablature/tab transcribers, people transposing covers or karaoke songs, composers, people learning music theory, and anyone interested in learning how to play their favorite songs.
To find the key of a song, you can:
- Sing, play, or listen to music through the microphone
- Play music from another streaming app (pro)
- Analyze song files on your device (pro)
- Improved support for matching melodies and songs with imperfect tuning (pro)
Device scans support all audio file types (mp3, ogg, m4a, WAV, PCM, etc). All BPMs are supported. Pro version supports slightly out-of-tune music but, if playing live, it may be beneficial to use a tuner to try to at least start with a known pitch or well-tuned chord. Support isolated notes, melodies, and scales as well as full mixes or performances.
This can also be a karaoke key identifier app to help transpose songs that are out of a singer's range in their original key.
