Quick Planning is a powerful Itinerary-Trip Planner written for Corporate Jets to allow the user to determine Flight Time, Fuel Burn and (local) Take Off or Landing times for various aircraft. 85% probability winds are stored but can be modified during planning.
It has the unique advantage of allowing an individual to "talk" completely in local times. All corporate jet aircraft are stored in the database base.
Based on a minimum of input (select an aircraft, date of travel, departure point, destination and desired take off or landing time) the respective local departure time or local landing time is then computed. These times account for Standard or Daylight savings time as well as Taxi and ATC delays. GMT times, Fuel Burns are ETEs are displayed. FBO's, Hotels and Limos can be stored for any of the over 6800 airports in the worldwide database.
This itinerary can be emailed to anyone from within the program. The great circle route is displayed for ease of planning your route and fuel stops. Your max range, with reserves, is indicated on the great circle route.

Version 1.18.928
You may have noticed that the Maps were not working! I had to quickly
change some code to accommodate changes Google made. All should be
well in this version.
Also you will notice that GPS position is now back! Your position
is displayed again on the - Closest Airports- page allowing you to
search for airports within 100 n.mi. of your GPS position or within
100 n.mi. of an airport.
Also Airport Identifiers have changed at several airports and those
have been updated in the db.
Still in the works is the ability to store and retrieve itineraries
and user added airports.

Version 1.17.4
The Falcon 8X (DA-8X) has been added to the list of Aircraft. Let me
know how the times and fuel burns match up.
Also a new feature is that the max range(a "dot" on the course line),
for the selected aircraft, is now displayed on the map. This range
is based on normal cruise with the reserves you entered on the
planning page.
On the "Closest Airports" page, your GPS location is no longer
displayed as we were having problems with the accuracy. As soon
as we can work it out, this feature will be back.
Still in the works is the ability to "store and retrieve" itineraries
and user added airports.

The major change is that now one is able to "add" and "delete"
legs from the itinerary.
You will notice that there is a "summary" window at the
top of the planning page. This makes it easier to view previous
ETAs and ETDs when planning stopover itineraries.
Also one can now "backspace" on the calculator page.
Still in the works is the ability to "store and retrieve" itineraries
and user added airports.

- It is now easier to search for an airport by just clicking SRCH on the planning page.

- Errors in the G-650 performance file have been corrected.
- Embraer Legacy 650 has been added to the aircraft database.

- The -TimeZones- file has been updated for 2015 and is good until 15 Feb 2016. The next version for Quick Planning will have a feature within the program that will automatically update the TZ file.
- An error has been corrected in the SR/SS calculation displayed in Airport Summary which was not properly accounting for DST.
- The airports database has been updated to account for errors in Morocco.
- TAFs can now be displayed in the Airport Summary Page.
- * Some may have noticed that when they emailed an itinerary to a ".yahoo" person it was not going through. This has been corrected.
Note, that now emails will be forwarded from:
"do-not-reply@quickplanning.com"
Your "from" email address will be displayed at the top of your itinerary message.
- Also note that you can add a note to the email by simply typing a message on the Quick E-mail page prior to sending.
