Fully automates the process of running a sail boat race. Provides the timing, scoring and Ollie Box functionality.
SailRaceAdmin (SRA) grew out of necessity. Gone are manual timing and writing results on paper, and manually entering them into a scoring program, instead this app automates the whole process of timing and scoring and requires only that you press a button when a boat crosses the finish line. It also integrates the Ollie Box functionality which operates for 1 or 2 division, 3 and 5 minute starts. It also includes a “Drift Detector” which alerts you to issues with the committee boat anchoring before it’s too late. Finally it emails the race results to a club scorer who can directly read the results into SailWave and similar scoring back ends. For complete details see the app website https://sailingapps.com.
