Timer 2000
HIIT & interval workout timer
Free · In-App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
New: a free 12-week home workout plan, every move explained in plain words. Still the fast interval timer for HIIT, Tabata and circuits — on iPhone and Apple Watch.
Timer 2000 is a fast, no-nonsense interval timer for HIIT, Tabata, circuits, stretching, and anything else built around "do X seconds, rest Y seconds, repeat N times." On iPhone and Apple Watch — now with a free 12-week home workout plan.
WORKOUT PLAN — NEW
• A 12-week home plan: strength circuits, intervals and easy days, getting a little harder every few weeks.
• Every move explained in plain words — no jargon, no guessing. "12 times", "each leg", "hold 30 seconds".
• Strength moves wait for you to tap DONE; intervals have their own hard and easy tones and haptics.
• Track your weekly weight and monthly waist alongside the plan.
• Personal Plan (one-time purchase): answer six quick questions and get a plan built around your goal, your days and your time — then change any of it by hand, including knee-friendly moves.
CIRCUITS
• Comes with a ready-made Full Body circuit — try it, then build your own.
• Build your own workout: named exercises, each with its own duration, repeated over rounds.
• Timer 2000 calls out every exercise — "Squats", "Plank" — so you never have to look at the screen.
• During rest it tells you what's coming next.
• Optional warm-up and cool-down phases bookend any workout, circuits and classic sets alike.
LOCK SCREEN & DYNAMIC ISLAND
• Your running timer lives on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island: current exercise, set counter, and remaining time at a glance.
iPHONE
• Three things on the screen: sets, exercise duration, rest duration. Plus or minus to dial each one. Long-press +/− to auto-repeat.
• Five preset slots — four built-in (8×20/10, 6×40/20, 5×1m/15, 4×3m/1m) and one fully customisable.
• Audio cues that actually help: a rising-pitch tick every second, a higher beep every 5 seconds, plus a voice announcement on a configurable interval ("3 minutes 20 seconds remaining"). Off, every 10s, or every 30s.
• Mute toggle for quiet environments — visual countdown only, no sound.
• Pause / resume / stop, with a clear "next phase" hint so you always know what's coming.
• Set rest to 0 for self-paced circuits — Timer 2000 waits for you to tap CONTINUE before the next set.
• Keeps running when the screen is locked, audio coming through your speaker or headphones.
• Siri and Shortcuts: say "Start a Timer 2000 workout" — works from the Action Button too.
TRACK YOUR PROGRESS
• A monthly calendar marks every day you finished a workout.
• Streaks, a 12-week trend chart, and 15 achievements to unlock.
• Home Screen widget with your current streak and this week's workouts.
• Optional daily reminder at your chosen time — it knows your streak and what's at stake.
• iCloud sync: progress and achievements follow you across your devices.
• Apple Health: finished sessions can be saved as HIIT workouts. Off by default.
APPLE WATCH
• Start, pause, and stop workouts from your wrist — no need to fish your phone out mid-set.
• Workouts finished on the watch count on your iPhone calendar too.
• Voice announcements over AirPods.
• Haptic cues every 5 seconds and on phase transitions, so you can train without headphones and still feel the cadence.
• Stays awake for the full workout via the watch's extended runtime session.
FREE, WITH TWO OPTIONAL ONE-TIME PURCHASES
The timer, the built-in presets, the calendar, the Apple Watch app and the standard 12-week plan are free. No subscription, ever. Two optional one-time purchases:
• Your Presets & Circuits — save your own presets and build your own circuits.
• Your Personal Plan — a plan made for you from six quick questions, and full editing of your plan.
PRIVACY
No accounts. No analytics. No ads. Your settings, plan and workout history live on your devices and in your own iCloud — nowhere else. Apple Health is written only if you switch it on, and never read.
WHY Timer 2000
Most workout apps want a subscription and your data. Timer 2000 wants neither. Open it, dial in the workout — or follow the plan — hit START, train, close it.

New: a 12-week home workout plan, built in and free.
• Every move is explained in plain words — what it works, how to do it, and a link to a video.
• Strength sessions wait for you to tap DONE; interval sessions beep and buzz differently for hard and easy parts.
• Log your weekly weight and monthly waist and watch the trend.
• The timer is still right where it was. The plan sits below it.
Want a plan made for you? Answer six quick questions (goal, how active you are, how many days, how long) and see what we suggest. Using it, and changing any part of it by hand, is a one-time purchase.
