User Interface Genius

I was skeptical at first. Seeing as how I’ve had every app for finances and budgeting in the App Store. I guess you could say I’ve had many short lived relationships with budgeting apps claiming to be everything you need. Well after down loading Budget Flow, I was slowly adding my accounts and some data here and a little there. When little things stood out to me. First the ability to make a custom logo for your accounts. You can even use saved photos. Then I noticed the ability to have two separate budget books. I believe some people will use it with families and so on. Well it works perfect for me to have one book with all my personal accounts. Then the other containing all business accounts. I gotta give it up to the designer on the best user interface I’ve experienced to date on a budget/finance application. I’m type of person who loves loading the transactions myself. For many reasons. It makes me stay accountable of what and how I’m spending. Also no bank pairing ever is 100% and something always gets lost or miss labeled. So I might just settle down with this Budget Flow and comit for life. Don’t tell my checkbook app. 🤑🤫😏 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Designer. I thank you for taking the time to creatively add in everything I’ve been wanting or needing in this. Now I might actually be able to get to the next level of money management!

The app is not only gorgeous but presents data in a way that’s easy to understand. Every feature makes total sense and appears to have been thoughtfully implemented.To me, where Budget Flow is today in terms of design and functionality more than meets my needs. However, a quick look at the development roadmap ahead reveals that added functionality is coming. Its future is bright. Did I mentioned there is a Mac version of Budget Flow? I don’t think I did, but yes, there is one. Thank you, developer!

I’ve used quite a few expense tracker apps over the years. This one ticks most all of the boxes you could ask for. I love its overall look and feel, the clean UI, and multitude of features, including a field for Payee — which most apps I’ve used lacked. It has tags, attachments and locations too and an easy to use budgeting feature which I’m actually starting to use. Most apps I’ve tried the budgeting feature is more complicated than you’d think it would be. The transactions that belong to one or more transaction categories automatically show up, a nice touch. Only missing features for me are:1. A url field to track online purchases. 2. One off budgets, with a start and end date (that aren’t recurring) and that can be archived when complete. 3. A large widget with a list of upcoming / planned transactions. 4. Optionally be able to see the transaction notes in transaction list, rather than having to first open the transaction.

My wife and I have used several budgeting apps over the years, with varying degrees of complexity, features and cost.We were never quite satisfied with most.. either way too expensive, overly complicated, lacking in features, etc…. Not to mention the lack of apps made with couples in mind to budget together. Then I came across BudgetFlow in a forum and so far it has been the best and most balanced budgeting app I’ve come across in terms of features, ease-of-use and cost. Plus, my wife and I can use it together and be synced up.Although it doesn’t have direct transaction import it has amazing iOS Shortcuts support. So was able to use text alerts from my bank and credit card companies, along with Shortcuts to create an automation to capture transaction details from those messages and automatically log into BudgetFlow.All around fantastic app, couldn’t be more satisfied with. Excellent work by this developer!

New in this version: - While editing a transaction's notes, you will now automatically receive a suggestion based on your previous entries, which you can apply by simply tapping on it - When performing a currency conversion, you can now swap the source and target currencies, as well as the exchange rate, to more easily calculate the correct values - With the integrated receipt scanner, you can now also analyze existing receipts from your photos or files and use them to create transactions - Added the "Start day of month" setting to the period selection view for easier access - Fixed a bug that caused the address to not resolve correctly when selecting locations - Fixed a bug that caused the blurred background to be hidden on the welcome screen on iPadOS and macOS - Fixed a bug that caused some views to be clipped when large font sizes were being used for accessibility purposes - Fixed a bug that prevented the "Show Contra Entry" button from appearing when the payment status did not match - Further stability and performance improvements If you like Budget Flow, feel free to write a positive review in the App Store.
