Festum Virtual offers a virtual tour around the botanical creations of the International Garden Festival organised at the Castle of Chaumont-sur-Loire in 2022.
We made virtual twins of these unique temporary gardens by scanning them in 3D. Although they had a temporary life span at the Castle, we wanted to bestow upon them a second life that is virtual. We designed the app so that their digital after-lives would form an archive of botanical inspirations.
Explore them in augmented reality wherever you are, at home or out in the street. Visualise them as a table-top model or a life-size virtual garden in which you can talk a walk.
