FocusMon
Productivity
Only for iPhone
Free · In-App Purchases · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.
When you want to put your phone aside and focus on what matters in real life, you start a focus session in FocusMon. The moment you start, a rift opens. As long as you stay focused, monsters emerge from the rift for you to catch. If you can't resist the urge to use your phone and leave the app, the session breaks and the rift closes empty — you get no monsters.
So during a session you can't do anything else on your phone without losing your progress. The more often you set the phone down, the more monsters you collect — and the better you use your time.
STAY FOCUSED
• A focus session only runs while you stay in the app. Leave early and you walk away with nothing.
• A Live Activity shows the running timer on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, so you don't need to open the app to check on it.
• Turn your focused time into a growing collection instead of screen time.
COLLECT, EVOLVE, TRADE
• Over 100 unique monsters, each with three evolution stages, plus rare Mythic monsters.
• Monsters level up and evolve using the shards you earn while focusing.
• Trade monsters with your friends and complete your Archive.
BATTLE FRIENDS AND PLAYERS WORLDWIDE
• Train your monsters through your focus time and fight in turn-based battles.
• Play casually against friends or climb the ranked ladder from Bronze to Champion.
• Make a focus pact with a friend: one shared goal, and if you both finish, you both get rewards.
GROW STRONGER TOGETHER WITH YOUR MONSTERS
• Your buddy monsters level up during your focus sessions.
• Unlock exclusive looks, items, and rewards for them, and make them stronger.
• Daily goals, a weekly board, and a Rifter Pass reward regular focus.
It's never too late to spend less time on your phone.
more 21 new monster families
3 of them show up in your focus sessions right away. The other 18 arrive over time: from October 1 until the end of February, a new Rift Debut event starts every two weeks and brings new families with it.
Events at a glance
• The event preview shows which new families come with an event
• The calendar now reaches the last planned event, and "Upcoming" shows every event still to come
• New families appear in the Archive as a silhouette with their date one month before their debut
• New: a notification when a debut starts. You can turn it off in Settings under "Events & Debuts"
Balancing
• Eternal Shards now come at a steady rate for your focus time. Unfinished minutes are saved for next time
• The Rift Pass counts your real focus time, without the streak multiplier. The season is built around roughly 90 minutes of focus a day
Also
• Pop-ups no longer pile on top of each other when you open the app
• Type and rarity now sit right next to the monster in the detail view
• Passive effects now respect immunity to venom and bleeding
• Plus smaller fixes

Rift Debut events
Every few weeks a new family breaks through the rift. A debut runs in steps:
small tasks one after another, each stage collected on its own, the monster
itself at the end. While a debut is running that family shows up more often in
your sessions — and its event skin is gone for good afterwards.
New mission hub
Missions, expeditions and events each have their own page now instead of one
endless list. So does the Rift Pass.
The Rift Pass runs on Rift Time
The pass no longer counts points, it counts your focus time — boosted by your
streak. The tiers now sit in front of you as a carousel. New: Quality Crystals.
Your existing progress carries over tier for tier.
Rewards that make an entrance
Every reward is staged one at a time, with its own presentation per rarity — in
the pass, in missions, at the rift breakthrough and in events.
Monster detail rebuilt
State and paths at a glance. The battle tab explains abilities in plain
language, and the new dressing room puts your skins on a stage.
Shop as a storefront
Skins, expression, offers, items, Pass & Plus and shards each have their own
page now.
New rare families
A whole wave of rare families arrives — three stages each, with their own
abilities, a distinct cry per stage, prism variants, bond frames and avatars.
Focus without tripwires
Quick jump to Spotify or a message? You now have a brief moment to come back —
your session keeps running. And your screen no longer locks itself during a
session.
Improvements
A season cockpit in the battle tab with a daily feed and a dedicated detail
page per battle. Passive abilities work reliably now, battles run more stably,
and no more profile data is lost when switching devices. Plus a lot of smaller
fixes.

1.1.3 30 Jun
New in this version
Fairer battles
We rebuilt how damage and matchups work. Type advantages now matter more, no monster gets one-shot from full health, and high potential only ever makes your monster stronger — never weaker.
Smarter opponents
Battle opponents now match your roster better. Newer trainers face fairer fights and won't run into evolved teams they can't answer yet.
Cleaner menus
Level rewards, the privacy policy and other sheets now open right where you need them. You can also link an extra sign-in method to your account at any time.
Smaller improvements and bug fixes.
Happy focusing!
1.1.2 23 Jun
Stroll
Your daily steps from Apple Health level up a companion, hand out rewards along the way and fill a daily chest from Bronze through Silver to Gold. Your step data stays on your device.
Monster sounds
Every family now has its own cry. You'll hear them in battle and in the monster view.
Battle sound effects
Hits, crits, healing and status changes have their own sound effects.
