Set pedals on a harp for glissandos
For pedal harpists: This app provides a quick and easy way to find the various pedal settings for commonly used glissandos in any key. Additionally, it will find pedal positions that produce a gliss for common chords (when possible).
The pedal positions are set in the top window. You can listen to the glissando by pressing the "Play Gliss" button. The scale or chord names will be displayed (when possible) and alternative pedal positions will be shown that give the same combination of notes. For any key signature, you can quickly determine the pedal options for Tonic, IV, and V7 glissandos. A chord can be selected and pedals set to play that chord (when possible).
