Basically sort of scam

Auto recharge without confirmation or user knowledge , tutors do not join the lessons and the balance expires and get lost without informing the user. In my opinion, the user experience is deliberately misleading… Lost 300 euros in vain..

Felt Completely Scammed – Lost €600 with No Help

I had a terrible experience with Preply and honestly feel scammed. I ended up losing €600 worth of lessons because I didn’t fully understand how the platform worked. There was no proper onboarding, no one to guide me, and the system isn’t intuitive for new users. I unknowingly let 20 lessons go unused.When I reached out to their customer support to ask if I could still use the lessons I paid for, all they said was, “We can’t help you.” That’s it. No flexibility, no solution, nothing.For a company that promotes itself as learner-focused, this felt incredibly cold and dishonest. I paid for a service and got absolutely nothing in return. Avoid this platform unless you’re ready to lose your money over a technicality. I regret ever trusting them.
