- Safety Information
- These situations could result in serious injury or damage if not avoided:
Patient & Clinical Limitations
• For use by qualified medical personnel only, always under Healthcare Practitioner supervision
• Not intended for high-acuity environments such as ICUs or operating rooms
• Not for use on acutely ill cardiac patients at risk of life-threatening arrhythmias (e.g., very fast atrial fibrillation) — a continuous ECG monitor should be used instead; this device is not a substitute
• Consult your Healthcare Practitioner before use if you have arrhythmias, arterial sclerosis, poor perfusion, diabetes, pregnancy, pre-eclampsia, or renal disease
• Never diagnose or treat yourself based on readings from this device
• Never adjust medication based on device readings — only a physician can do this
• Intended for a single patient only — do not use on another person during monitoring
Medical Procedures & Environments
• Remove the bracelet before patient defibrillation
• Do not use in areas with high-frequency (HF) surgical equipment, hyperbaric chambers, or CT scanners
• Do not use near strong electromagnetic fields (e.g., anti-theft systems, metal detectors)
• Do not use in oxygen-rich environments (>25% concentration) or near flammable gas
• This bracelet is MR-unsafe — do not expose it to any MRI environment; it may cause projectile injury, thermal burns, image artefacts, or device malfunction
Population Restrictions
• Do not use on infants, toddlers, children, or persons unable to express themselves (not validated in pediatric populations)
• Do not use on an injured arm or one in use for other medical treatment (e.g., dialysis shunt)
• Do not use if you have severe blood flow problems, blood disorders, or damaged/irritated skin
Device & Electrical Safety
• Do not use with other medical electrical equipment simultaneously unless authorised by Corsano
• Never allow the bracelet or mobile phone to fully discharge
• Never plug/unplug the charger with wet hands
• Inspect all cables before use; never use cracked, worn, or damaged cables
• No modifications to the bracelet are permitted — these may cause electric shock, burns, or death
• If a serious incident occurs related to the device, it must be reported to Corsano Health and the relevant Competent Authority in your country
