I discovered TimeLeft and decided to give it a try. I did one dinner and actually liked the concept. Unfortunately they left my city.Now they are back but with a subscription model, and I think that completely changes the idea what made it appealing in the first place.The beauty of TimeLeft was being able to think “I have some time this week, let’s see if there is a seat available and meet some people”. You could participate when it suited you!With a subscription model it feels like you have to attend a certain number of events to justify what you’re paying. This turns something spontaneous and fun into an obligation. I’ll happily pay per event when I have time. But a mandatory subscription is to much commitment for something that should be having time left, not having meetings left on your calendar

The subscription model is the real, current setup though, not something we're walking back, it's built to support things like unlimited events and consistent group quality rather than one-off drop-ins. We hear that this trade-off doesn't work for everyone's rhythm, and that's genuinely useful to know as we think about the product going forward.
