In Bad Neuenahr wilden we geen saaie wandeling doen. We deden de Escape game in deze stad. De route met opdrachten bracht ons naar verschillende plekken in de stad. Via allerlei erg gevarieerde opdrachten moesten we voorkomen dat hackers een nucleaire bom op de wereld dropten. Nooit verwacht dat ik een Russisch gesprek met de hacker zou doen. Ook de challenges tussendoor maakten de verkenning leuk. We kregen verschillende tools in onze inventaris om de raadsels te decoderen. We houden er ook enkele ongewild zotte foto’s aan over. Ergens had ik wel ietsje meer linken naar de geschiedenis van de stad verwacht. Er is wel een link naar de Regieringsbunker, maar gelijkaardig aan deze link mogen er nog wat meer bruggetjes met de stad gelegd worden. Een escape room duurt meestal maar een uur, hier ben je dus langer door geanimeerd en je hebt toch een behapbaar tochtje afgelegd.
