2.5.0 12 hr ago
What's changed:
- We've added the ability to measure your low point when swinging face-on. Check out the Club Release feedback group under the "Face-On" feedback menu to learn more or turn this feedback on.
- You can now limit swing detection to swings where a ball is hit. Use the new "Swing Capture" setting on the Practice screen to prevent practice swings from being detected.
- Shaft Lean at Impact (face-on) is now measured relative to the back edge of the ball, when a ball is detected. This feedback continues to work without a ball as well.
- The Swing Plane target will now adjust based on the position of the ball when one is detected. Like Shaft Lean at Impact, Swing Plane feedback continues to work without a ball.
- Measurement stability and accuracy have been improved when the device is moving, such as when Swing Coach is being used handheld, provided that a ball is detected.
- We've added a new way to receive audio feedback. If you only want to hear feedback after certain swings, check out the "Swing Feedback" setting on the Practice screen. When set to "Hand Raise Only", Swing Coach will record all detected swings but only provide audio feedback when it detects that you've turned to face the camera and raised your hand.

2.0.1 23 Mar
Swing Coach 2.0 is here, one year after launch, and our biggest update yet!
Face-On Analysis
Record swings from the face-on view to unlock all-new measurements designed to help you better understand body motion, balance, and sequencing throughout your swing.
Revamped Setup Posture
We’ve rebuilt setup posture analysis with more detailed feedback (number based measurements similar to swings), new visuals and clearer feedback on the swing replay screen. We recommend rewatching the Setup Tutorial in the Help Center (? button in the top-right) to get the most out of these changes.
Misc Improvements
Too many other changes to list here, but we hope you'll find the app has improved overall as you dive into this update.

1.3.6 26/12/2025
In this update we've done a few things:
- Continued to enhance the foundation for the upcoming face-on analysis feature.
- Moved most of the Pro Swing library to be downloaded on-demand vs included in the app download. This reduces the initial download size and allows us to significantly increase the number of Pro Swings in the future.
- Squashed some bugs.

1.3.5 03/12/2025
This release adds foundational capabilities for our upcoming face-on release (no official date yet).
We’ve also added the ability to capture face-on swings, though there are no measurements or feedback yet. The more swings you capture, the better our AI will become for the official face-on release. Different swing spots, different clubs, different attire, we need it all! Please note that swing capture won’t be as reliable as down-the-line just yet, but it will keep improving ahead of the official release.
We’ve also moved some frequently used practice settings out of the Settings tab and right onto the Practice tab for easier access.
