Whitby is one of more than 14,000 real starting places across 23 countries in European football. You give the fictional club a new name and its own colours. Its first ground is modest.
The coach controls the team sheet, while a sporting director scouts potential signings. Their recommendations come to your desk with a price. You decide what the club can afford without putting the next season at risk.
Club money is only one part of the career. Away from the club, you can buy property and make personal investments. Your family changes as the seasons pass. In time, you choose who may inherit the club and the obligations that come with it.
Whitby changes as the club grows. Sensible investment around the club can bring more people through the gates and improve its commercial outlook. Better facilities give young players a clearer route. Promotion can raise income, but expansion still has to fit the budget.
The core career is playable offline after installation. Ads, purchases, store prices, verification, recovery and support can require a connection.
