CapForge is now free to play! If you play fantasy football, you already know the best day of the year. Draft day. Arguing for a guy nobody else rates, then being right about him in November. CapForge is the most realistic football simulator on iOS, and it's built around the part fantasy leaves out: he's actually yours. You don't rent him for a season. You draft him, pay him, extend him or let him walk, and ten years later he's either going into the Hall of Fame with your name on the pick or he's the dead money still on your cap three years after you cut him. You're the general manager. Not the coach, not a player. One of 32 clubs, and you build the roster, sign the deals, hire the staff, then live with all of it. And now you can watch it. Tap a play in the drive log and the film runs it from the snap: routes drawn before the ball moves, the pocket closing, a corner one step late on the break, the back finding the cutback. None of it is canned. Every man moves on his own ratings and his own assignment, so the guy you paid for looks like the guy you paid for. Check the forecast before kickoff. Every game is played in the home city's weather, and it counts. Rain and snow make the ball hard to hold and harder to throw deep, wind pushes kicks around, and an offense built for a dome finds out what December outdoors is like. You'll see it on the film, too. The other sideline is coached. Coordinators call coverages snap by snap, and a good one reads your offense and calls against it. Teams that trail go for it on fourth down and try the onside kick when the math says to; teams that lead bleed the clock. It's all built on the 2026 NFL rulebook, down to which hash the ball is spotted on. The front offices are no easier. Rival GMs price the contract, not the rating, so an overpaid star is as much their problem as yours, and a deal that doesn't fit under their cap doesn't happen. They'll poach your coordinators too. Pick how much of the job you want. Arcade shows true ratings and keeps the money simple. Dynasty is the whole front office: every rating is your staff's read and sharpens the longer a player is with you, guarantees and no-trade clauses are on the table, and a star who outplays his deal will sit out over it. The cap is the real opponent. Cut a guy and what you still owe him follows you, and every guarantee, restructure and tag is still there in year three when the plan has changed. The year runs in order: re-signings, cuts, the tag, three waves of free agency, the draft, the undrafted scramble. In Dynasty, training camp comes next: position battles, preseason games and cuts you actually have to make. Then the season, the playoffs, the awards and the retirements, and you roll it over with last year's bill still on the books. Draft classes run 480 deep and seven rounds take 224. Your scouts give you a read, not the truth, and some of those kids are somebody's son or little brother. 81 stats are tracked for every player, including the ones nobody puts on a highlight reel: pressures charged to the lineman who got beaten, yards allowed in coverage. And every meeting between two clubs is remembered. A series that stays close and stays mean earns a name, from history to rivalry to bad blood. The whole GM game is free. No ads, no energy timers, no premium currency, no paid boosts. CapForge Pro is one optional purchase for players who want to rewrite the league: edit any player, coach or club, start from your own files, set your own league rules, open the record books, and switch on unlimited cap space for a pure sandbox. It's built in the open, and updates land most weeks. One was titled Fixes from your reports, because that's where it came from. Plays fully offline. No account, no sign-in. Your league lives on your phone. Players are fictional and randomly generated.
