Grocery Prices & Receipts

Only for iPhone

Scan shelf tags and receipts, compare unit prices, spot shrinkflation, plan shopping, and privately share lists, pantry, budgets, and cards with your household. Know whether a grocery price is actually good before it goes in the cart. BasketSignal turns the shelf tags and receipts you already see into a private price history on your iPhone. Compare normalized unit prices, understand what you usually pay, and make a more informed choice before checkout. SCAN AND REVIEW • Scan a shelf tag or a whole receipt with your camera • Import a receipt image from Photos • Review and edit detected stores, dates, totals, quantities, units, discounts, and item prices before saving • Keep uncertain rows visible for review instead of silently dropping them • Detect likely duplicate receipts before they distort your history UNDERSTAND YOUR PRICES • Compare current, usual, lowest, and store-by-store prices • Normalize prices by item, package, weight, or volume when the receipt provides enough detail • Track personal inflation based on your own purchases • Spot package-size changes and possible shrinkflation • See savings and shopping insights built from your records PLAN THE HOUSEHOLD • Create preset or custom shopping lists with built-in or personal artwork • Track estimated totals, active trips, and weekly or monthly household budgets • Move selected receipt items into Pantry, Fridge, Freezer, or a custom location • Save printed dates, estimated freshness dates, and optional local reminders • Save recipes or import a user-selected public recipe page, then add only the ingredients you need • Keep retailer loyalty cards available offline PRIVATE SHARING WITH ICLOUD Invite household members to a private iCloud household and choose which categories and store cards they can access. Shared lists and enabled household records can be updated by invited members and synchronized across their iPhones. Apple Family Sharing for an eligible purchase is separate from access to household records. OPTIONAL PRODUCT LOOKUP Scan a packaged-product barcode to check products you already confirmed. If needed, BasketSignal can request a match from Open Food Facts and regional sources such as USDA FoodData Central or The Open Food Repo. Online matches are identified and shown for confirmation before saving. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Receipt recognition, cropping, product-photo background isolation, categorization suggestions, and price comparisons run on your device using Apple system frameworks. BasketSignal requires no app account and includes no ads or advertising analytics. Optional iCloud sharing, barcode lookup, recipe import, and support email use only the data needed for the feature you choose. Receipt recognition, product data, price comparisons, freshness estimates, and duplicate warnings can be incomplete or incorrect. Review important values before relying on them. BasketSignal is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any retailer or product manufacturer. BasketSignal includes a useful free tier. BasketSignal Pro is a one-time, non-consumable lifetime unlock through Apple’s App Store—not a subscription.
