pmosh

SSH terminal built for tmux

Free · In-App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Claude Code, tmux and your own server, on your phone. Attaches to a live tmux session over SSH with a keyboard made for the CLI. First tab free. Pro: 7-day free trial. Run Claude Code, vim, htop and the rest of your setup from your phone: pmosh attaches to the tmux session that is already running on your own server, so nothing is copied, proxied or re-hosted. One tab is free forever; Pro (unlimited tabs) has a 7-day free trial. pmosh is an SSH terminal for iPhone and iPad that attaches to a tmux session on your own server using tmux's control mode, so the terminal you see on your phone is the same session running on your machine. It's built for developers who run tmux, shells, and command-line tools — including agentic coding tools like Claude Code — on servers or machines they already own and administer. pmosh doesn't provide any of that for you; it's a client that connects to infrastructure you already have. pmosh only connects to servers you configure. On first launch it generates an ed25519 SSH keypair on your device, stored in the iOS Keychain, and shows you the public key so you can add it to authorized_keys on your own server. You type in your host and username; nothing is pre-filled or bundled. There is no server component, no bundled credentials, and no third-party service in between. Features: - Attaches to a remote tmux session over SSH using tmux's control mode (tmux -CC), so output and session state stay in sync with the server - On-device ed25519 key generation — a unique keypair per install, kept in the iOS Keychain - Two rows of on-screen keys above the keyboard with what terminal work needs but iOS doesn't have: Esc, Ctrl-C, Enter, arrow keys (hold to repeat), Tab / Shift-Tab, and scrollback paging — both rows customizable in Settings, including keys that type your own text - Works with an external hardware keyboard if you use one - One terminal tab, with the full terminal feature set, free forever - No accounts and no sign-in — ever - pmosh Pro (optional subscription): unlimited tabs, each its own tmux session Privacy: pmosh does not collect analytics or usage data, and does not talk to any server other than the one you enter in setup. There is no account system and no data is sent to the developer or any third party. The only network connection the app makes is the SSH connection to your own server. Requirements: pmosh needs an SSH server you control, reachable from your device, with tmux installed on it. It is not a hosting service and does not include a server — you connect it to a server you already run. pmosh Pro — optional auto-renewing subscription - pmosh Pro Monthly: $3.99 per month - pmosh Pro Yearly: $29.99 per year pmosh Pro unlocks unlimited terminal tabs. One tab, with the full terminal, stays free forever — the subscription is entirely optional. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings on your device after purchase. - Arrow keys at last: a second key row above the keyboard with ← ↑ ↓ → tab ⇧tab, so you can move through menus and pickers in Claude Code and any other TUI. Hold an arrow to repeat. - Both key rows are yours to customize in Settings → Key rows: reorder, add keys from the catalog (Ctrl combos, Home/End, PgUp/PgDn, symbols), or add a custom key that types any text. - Works on Linux servers out of the box: tmux is now found on your PATH instead of a fixed Homebrew location - pmosh Pro now starts with a 7-day free trial, and the plan picker shows it - Fixes and polish
