What’s new in Backshift 1.1: • Set up your shift pattern by tapping boxes: day, night, day off, in any order you like. You can set the hours for each day on its own. If your shifts don’t follow a pattern, mark the days on the calendar yourself. • A big timer as soon as you open the app: see at a glance how long until your next shift, or until your shift ends. • Your Lock Screen timer now starts by itself when your shift begins. • Tap a day to change its hours, break and overtime in one place. • A new Stats screen: see how many hours, nights and weekends you worked this month. • Add to my calendar: put your shifts in the iPhone Calendar app with one tap. • Send my shift list: send the month’s list as a PDF to your manager or family. • Choose when your overtime starts, and see how much your extra pay adds to your hourly rate. New in Backshift Pro: • Alarms for your shifts: your alarms set themselves to match your shift pattern. • Sleep plan: when it’s best to sleep before and after your night shifts. • Rest warning: we let you know ahead of time when the gap between two shifts is short. • Your calendar updates itself when your pattern changes. • See your days off together with someone you love as soon as you open the app.

Backshift is now easier to use. • Your calendar shows pictures instead of letters: a sun for day shifts, a moon for nights and a house for days off. You can see your week at a glance. • When your shift ends, we ask you one question: “Was it as planned?” You don’t have to answer. If you don’t, your shift counts as planned. • See how much of your shift is left on your Lock Screen, at the top of your screen (Dynamic Island), on your Home Screen (widgets) and on your Apple Watch. It shows when you turn your iPhone sideways too. • We rewrote every screen in short, simple words. • A simpler menu: Calendar, My earnings and My shift pattern are at the top. • Remove a row from your shift pattern by tapping the bin. My shift pattern now opens the pattern you set up. • A simpler Backshift Pro screen. The yearly plan starts with a free week. • You can now use Backshift on iPhone Duo. • The “Complete” button is gone, so there’s nothing to tap any more. If you added it to Control Centre, you can remove it there.
