What is Skindr?
Have you ever had to wait for over 4 months for an appointment with the dermatologist? Have you worried for over 4 months about your skin condition? Well, now there is Skindr.
Skindr is an app that allows people to get help within 48h from a Belgian dermatologist.
How does it work?
- Upload photos and describe your skin condition.
- The dermatologist looks into your problem and asks additional questions if necessary.
- You receive advice and a treatment plan from the dermatologist within 48h. Your prescription is directly added to your identity card.
In the chat of the app, you and the dermatologist can ask each other questions in order to adapt the advice and treatment plan to your condition in an optimal way. This chat remains open for a week after the consultation so that you have time to ask any other questions you may have.
If a physical appointment is needed, your dermatologist will ask you to schedule one. In this way, you will also be able to visit the doctor more quickly.

In 95% of all cases, the dermatologists affiliated with Skindr are able to prepare an opinion based on the photos and information you provide through the app. If they deem that a diagnosis via the app is not possible, a physical consultation with the nearest Skindr dermatologist is recorded as soon as possible.
