It connects attendees based on mutual goals and confirmed interest — so every intro is relevant, timely, and wanted by both sides. How It Works: Before the event, you build a two-layer profile. Your public side captures who you are and what you do. Your private context tells Subtext what you're actually looking for—a co-founder, a customer, a specific kind of investor. That stays between you and the app. Subtext's matching agent reads both layers across all attendees and identifies high-signal pairs. When a match is found, both people receive a recommendation independently. A connection is only confirmed when both sides express interest. No cold intros. No one-sided requests. Matches are delivered before the event starts, along with a short brief: what you have in common, what the other person is working on, a few conversation starters. You arrive prepared.
