It’s all at your fingertips. Lock or unlock your bike, check the battery level, and find where you parked it – all from your phone. Keep an eye out for regular updates geared to take your VanMoof riding experience to the next level.
What can you do with the VanMoof app?
No matter where you are in the app, it will assist you with your smoothest ride yet:
Home
* No keys are needed, your bike smartly recognizes you. Unlock your bike with just a tap or create a personal unlock code to easily unlock your bike without your phone.
* Check how much battery your bike has (and Powerbank if you have one).
* View your current speed, distance, and ride duration on your in-app live dashboard.
* Adjust your bike settings instantly on the home screen. You can change your motor assistance, gears, lights, bell sound, and other bike sounds.
Rides
* Look back at every trip with a detailed ride overview.
* You can view every journey, including the time, distance, maximum and average speed, if you stopped, and how much battery it cost.
* See how you compare to other VanMoof riders in your city and across the World.
Garage
* Find all of your bike information, change your bike settings, and view your MyVanmoof profile.
* Get help with your bike by contacting support or reading the help articles.
* Share your bike with your friends and family.
* Plan a repair appointment at your closest store.
* Mark your bike as missing and send in the Bike Hunters.
* If your bike has Apple Find My, you can see the current status.

What’s New
Version 24.2
- For increased safety, you now need to enable ‘Repair Mode’ on your bike when you’re dropping off your bike at a partner shop. Get started by scanning the QR code in the partner shop.
- Setting up Apple Find My is improved. You should now be able to correctly connect with Find My if you follow the steps in the app.
- Due to a bug, sometimes you could get a notification that a bike update was available for the VanMoof S5 and A5, even though your bike was up to date. That’s fixed now.
- The notification to remind you about touch unlock when closing the app will now show up less often.
Ratings and Reviews
It just works.
The app works fine! Would be nice to have a Force Touch shortcut or maybe a widget to unlock the bike without opening the app itself.
Great app, just one thing missing
The only real thing missing is navigation. The map is nice, but without navigation, it really is not that useful. Any chance you can add navigation support soon? I would really like seeing the info on speed, time and settings while navigating.
En toute simplicité
L’app est assez complète tout en restant simple (peut être un chouïa trop). La dernière mise à jour est très appréciable, c’est ce qu’il manquait à l’app.
Seul bémol les enregistrements des parcours bug assez régulièrement (pas complet, pas des plus fiables ou précis, parfois ne s’enregistre pas du tout). Aussi j’aurais mis par pays au lieu de ville (on habite pas tous en métropole…) dans cette section.
Enfin, d’autres langues seront-elles disponibles un jour ? (Le français 😛)
