When I purchased my Microsoft HD 3000 webcam, I was very surprised by the fact that it wasn’t possible to change the settings. The main issue was the excessive brightness that makes the webcam unusable, but also the mirror-effect that irritates me. So I purchased this app, expecting that it would solve all of this. The app fixed the brightness issue but unfortunately there isn’t any option to cancel the mirror effect.Definitely, purchasing another webcam would have been smarter.

Works fine with Logitech 920 webcam on Catalina

Some logitech webcams are not fully supported on MacOS. There are no settings available in Facetime or Skype to adjust zoom, saturation or brightness. This app has solved this for me. (On Catilina - Dec 2020).Extra remark: Some settings like saturation will be active from the moment you start Facetime or Skype, but you need to start the 'Webcam Settings'-app itself to activate settings like zoom. Strange.
