Clearer about the one thing you need to do on the day: open the app at the start. The event screen now shows when sharing can begin, and the start reminder says plainly that nobody can follow you until you open it.

A second reminder five minutes before the start if you are not sharing yet, so nobody sets off without being followed. Signing out now clears everything of that account, and leaving an event stops recording when nothing else needs it. Workotrack now warns you when location is set to approximate, too rough to place you on the course.

Sign in with Apple or Google, in two taps. No name, email and password to invent while you are standing at a start line with your gloves on, and the account you already have still works exactly as before. Fixed: on iPhone the headline on the first screen was drawn far too small to read.

No more forgetting to press start. Join an event and Workotrack begins sharing by itself when the event does, as long as the app is open. You can stop sharing whenever you want, and it still stops on its own when the event ends.

Riding through a dead zone? The distance on your lock screen now keeps counting on its own and tells you there is no signal, instead of sitting on the last number that reached us. Everything you record still uploads itself once you are back in coverage. Fixed: the map opens where you are, instead of on the whole world until you press the locate button.

Scan your event's QR code to join it, or open the link your organiser sends. Either way you now see the event first, with its name, start time and course, so you can check it is the right one before you share anything. Fixed: a code you scan before signing in is no longer lost while you create your account.

Your position is now recorded more precisely on the Balanced setting, so your distance and pace stay accurate for longer on a big day. Fixed: signing in and editing your account no longer hides the field behind the keyboard.
