AirBridge
Files, Clips & NAS, Nearby
Free
Send big files and clipboard text between iPhone, iPad and Mac, and browse your NAS, over your own network. No account, no cloud.
AirBridge moves files and clipboard text between your iPhone, iPad and Mac over your own network, and opens the files on your NAS. Nothing goes through a cloud service, and there is no account.
Send files
- Send files, folders, text and links to a nearby device in a few taps.
- Large transfers resume on their own if the Wi-Fi drops for a moment.
- Every transfer is encrypted, checked when it arrives, and listed with a receipt.
Send clipboard text
- Tap Paste on iPhone, or choose Send Clipboard to in the Mac menu bar, and the text arrives on your other device.
- Received clips wait in Clipboard history until you copy one. AirBridge never watches or replaces your clipboard.
- One-time codes, passwords, card numbers and keys ask before sending, show only their kind, and disappear after 5 minutes.
Open your NAS (iPhone and iPad)
- Browse a WebDAV server over HTTPS, or any folder in Files, including SMB servers you connect to there.
- Send a file from your NAS straight to your Mac, or upload into any folder.
- Passwords stay in your device's Keychain, and nothing is overwritten without asking.
Trust you can see
- The first time two devices meet, you approve each other and can compare fingerprints.
- After that, AirBridge checks each sender's signature before accepting anything automatically.
AirBridge works only on your local network. It has no account, no tracking and no remote storage.
more AirBridge 3.0 does more than move files.
Clipboard: send text or a link to your other device. Tap Paste on iPhone, or choose Send Clipboard to in the Mac menu bar. One-time codes and passwords ask first and vanish after 5 minutes.
Shares (iPhone and iPad): browse your WebDAV server or any folder in Files, including SMB servers, and send a file straight to your Mac.
Resumable transfers: if the Wi-Fi drops, a large transfer waits for the other device and carries on where it stopped.
Safer: AirBridge checks that each sender is who it says it is before accepting automatically, and sends only to the device you trusted.
Large transfers also recover cleanly when a lost response causes a chunk to be retried.
Clips go only between AirBridge 3.0 devices that trust each other.
