Never lose track of the spot you want to remember. Quickly save places, return to them whenever you want, and turn your map into a personal collection of pins, visits, alerts, and trip logs.
WHAT'S INSIDE
- Save Here records your current location as a place so you can pin it as soon as you arrive.
- Press and hold on the map to drop a temporary pin, then choose to Save place or Copy coordinates.
- Search for an address or place name, paste coordinates, then jump to it or jump and save it.
- Switch between Standard, Hybrid and Satellite maps to view places your way.
- Use the compass, scale, tilt toggle and centre-on-my-location button for easier map browsing.
- See your nearest saved place at the top of the map, with distance and a direction arrow.
- Manage saved places with collections, tags, favourites, visited status and different marker colours.
- Search your places by name, note, address or category, then filter by Favourites, To visit or Visited.
- Sort places by Newest or Name and narrow your list with category and Smart Collection chips.
- Add visit check-ins with notes, photos and keep a timeline for each place.
- Open saved places in Apple Maps for directions, share Apple Maps links or copy coordinates.
- Set arrival or departure alerts for a place so your phone notifies you when you arrive nearby.
- Export a full backup of your saved places and restore later with Replace or Merge options.
- Add widgets to Home and Lock Screens to see the closest place, saved counts and quick Save Here actions.

Your data is always stored on your device and each spot retains a map snapshot so you can still see its details when offline.
