Blur Background Photo Editor is an iPhone photo editor that blurs the background of a photo after you take it. Pick a picture, and the app finds the person in it, keeps them sharp and makes the background soft — a portrait-style look without a DSLR or desktop software. Need to hide something instead? Pixelate faces or any area in a few taps.
WHAT THIS APP DOES
The iPhone Camera can't add background blur to a photo you've already taken. Blur Background Photo Editor can. Use this app to blur photo backgrounds, blur a whole image, blur or pixelate faces, or paint blur exactly where you want it. Choose from eight blur and mosaic styles, set the strength, and save the result to your Photos library.
All editing happens on your iPhone. Your photos are never uploaded to a server to be blurred.
HOW TO BLUR A PHOTO ON IPHONE
1. Open Blur Background Photo Editor and choose a picture from your library, or tap Share on a photo in the Photos app and send it to Blur Background Photo Editor.
2. Pick what to blur: the background, the full photo, faces, or a manual area.
3. Choose a blur style and drag the slider to set the intensity.
4. Save the edited photo or share it right away.
