Libreto 2.4.1 is a reliability release. Nothing new to learn, a lot less to go wrong. PLANNERS Every hyperlink now works in scroll view, not just paged view: Contents, month covers, index pages, and tapping a day on a monthly calendar all jump where they should. Year at a Glance links to each month on every planner, not only the All-in-One. Every row on the Lifestyle, Wellness, Fitness, Productivity and Finance index pages is now a real link. STICKERS & PHOTOS Stickers land centered on the page with a frame that matches their shape, so moving, resizing and rotating feel right. Stickers, typed text and tape now show in scroll view too. PDF Ink you draw on a PDF is saved the moment the stroke ends. Pages open below the status bar instead of underneath it. PDFs made with Split and Extract Pages now sync to your other devices. WHITEBOARD A sticky you drag comes to the front. The selection frame sits around the note you picked. Long notes fit instead of trailing off. FIXES Free accounts no longer hit the paywall on their first new notebook because of the sample documents. App Lock no longer asks for Face ID every time you open the share sheet or a file picker. The Time Keeper keeps counting while Libreto is in the background. Text notes save the last thing you typed even if you leave right away. Deleting a page removes its audio recordings from storage. Libreto 2.4 adds on-device intelligence, and it's included. No credits, no AI add-on, no upgrade tier. LIBRETO INTELLIGENCE Ask questions about any PDF or notebook and get answers with page citations you can tap. Summarize a document, a page range, or a selection. Explain any passage in plain language, or "like I'm new to this." Name and tag scans automatically instead of ending up with Scan 4.pdf. All of it runs on your device with Apple Intelligence: nothing is uploaded, nothing is metered. STUDY KIT Turn any notebook or PDF into flashcards and multiple-choice quizzes, review them on a spaced-repetition schedule, and export the deck as CSV for Anki or Quizlet. LECTURE MODE Record while you write, then transcribe and summarize on device. Tap any line of the transcript to jump the audio, and your handwriting, to that exact moment. Action items are pulled out for you. SMART SEARCH Search inside everything: PDF text, your handwriting, transcripts, and notes. It understands what you meant, so "the lecture about cell division" finds the page that says mitosis. STUDY SPLIT Read a document on one side and take notes on the other. Send selected text or a clipped page straight into your notes, with a link back to the source page. TEXT DOCUMENTS A new document type for typed notes: markdown, headings, checklists you can tick right in the preview. SERIOUS PDF WORK Real redaction that destroys the hidden content instead of covering it, with find-and-redact across a whole contract at once. Libreto's subscription price has changed. If you're already subscribed, you keep your current price for as long as your subscription stays active. This update is about being straight with you at the paywall: • Accurate free trial terms. Libreto now checks whether your Apple ID is actually eligible for the introductory free trial, and says so upfront. If you've subscribed before, you'll no longer be shown a "free trial" you can't receive. • Trial length comes straight from the App Store, so what you read is always what you'll be charged. • Fixed subscription status showing "Free" while Premium was unlocked. • Clearer plan and billing details across the paywall, onboarding, and Settings.

Libreto 2.2.1 is a stability release. Everything below came out of a full pass over the app, top to bottom. NEW • More from the studio. A new section in Settings with the other apps I build. Nothing is downloaded, and tapping a row just opens the App Store. FASTER • PDFs open without the app freezing, especially long documents and scans. • Handwriting search no longer locks up the screen while it reads your pages. • Exporting a long notebook to PDF uses far less memory, so big planners finish reliably. • Sketch layers and page thumbnails use less memory while you work. FIXED • Pages and sketch layers could quietly reorder themselves after syncing across devices. Order is now stable everywhere. • Move Up and Move Down in the page browser sometimes did nothing, or moved the wrong page. • Inserting a page could drop it in the wrong place, or on top of another page. • Page thumbnails showed as solid black for light notebooks. • PDF page thumbnails could show a page from a document you had already closed. • Year at a Glance now lines its mini calendars up to real weekdays and handles leap years. • The iCloud Sync switch in Settings had no effect. It now genuinely turns syncing on and off, taking effect the next time you open Libreto. • Compressing a PDF could silently drop a page it could not process. • Importing a file that is not a readable PDF now tells you, instead of adding a document that never opens. • Sample content cleanup no longer removes a notebook you created or renamed yourself. • Signatures, stickers, and image stamps no longer risk a crash while a PDF is drawn or saved. • Scanning could fail if a page image did not convert. • Backups and exports handle unusual document names instead of skipping the file. • Photos added to a whiteboard are resized before saving, so boards sync faster and take up far less space. • Restored purchases are checked more carefully, so an expired or refunded subscription no longer unlocks Premium.
