Tickow

Clock, notes & ambient sounds

Free · In-App Purchases

Tickow brings a clear, beautiful clock to your iPhone, iPad and Mac, with your notes, planner and favourite ambient sounds close at hand. A CLOCK THAT FEELS LIKE YOURS Choose a flip clock, digital display or Roman numerals. See hours, minutes and optional seconds in large cards. Use portrait or landscape, and adjust the font, size and colors. MAKE IT PERSONAL Explore 13 themes, from vintage newspaper and Roman-inspired designs to a quiet dark display. Use a photo from your library as the background and adjust its dimming. Choose from 11 numeral styles, including Arabic-Indic, Persian, Devanagari, Bengali, Thai, Japanese Kanji and two Chinese number formats. SET THE SOUND Choose from seven real recordings of rain, light rain, drizzle, crackling fires and sea waves. Open Ambient sound directly from the clock. Set the volume and a stop timer. Ambient audio you start can continue while the screen is locked. KEEP IDEAS CLOSE Create multiple sticky notes. Move, resize, close and reopen them. Type with the keyboard or draw on supported devices. Set three quick pen colors. Plan in a daily or monthly agenda. Apple Pencil is supported on compatible iPads. TIMER AND STOPWATCH Set hours, minutes and seconds for a countdown. Pause, resume or reset it. Track elapsed time and laps with the stopwatch. Timing is preserved when you close the panel. Timer notifications require permission; delivery and sound depend on your system settings. A SMALL THOUGHT EACH DAY Discover 60 original short thoughts. Your daily thought stays the same throughout the day, and the full collection is used before a thought repeats. 39 LANGUAGES Change the app language in settings. Choose the clock’s numeral style independently of the interface language. ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION Eligible new subscribers get a 3-day free trial, followed by an annual subscription. Renews automatically unless cancelled. Previous one-time full-version purchases remain valid. Your local price is shown before purchase. Restore previous purchases at any time. Your notes are not deleted when access expires. GOOD TO KNOW The full-screen clock works while the app is open. It does not replace the system lock screen or launch itself as a screensaver. Clock chimes work while the app is open and are not an alarm service. The iPhone and iPad widget uses 24-hour time; the system controls its refresh schedule. You can enable iCloud sync in settings. Notes, planner pages, background photo and appearance preferences sync across devices using the same Apple Account. Offline changes stay on your device; sync runs while the app is open.
