We’ve been hard at work improving ExploreHere and making it feel even more like an adventure companion. Today, we're adding an exciting new feature (and a special event!) to get you out and exploring the world: Badges keep track of your progress and reward you for adventuring your way. We hope they help celebrate your accomplishments, while motivating you to always keep exploring. We've added a few starter badges, with many more to come! It's also time for our first ever event: the Spring Egg Hunt! Scout has hidden golden eggs on points all across the app, and he wants you to get out there and find them. Get outside, check out some new places, and level up your Egg Hunt badge while you’re at it. This is a limited time event (now until the end of May), how many golden eggs can you find? We're testing badges and looking for feedback, tell us what you’d love to see next!

New in 4.12 Login is no longer required to use the app, and we added customizable profiles In 4.11 We've redesigned the location pages to give a better quick-look at the cool places around you. In 4.10 We're starting off this first release with a layout change and a big emphasis on hands free travel mode - Travel Mode can now be accessed via the main bottom tab bar - Whats nearby is now its own tab which shows landmarks in your current town - Redesign of the map layout to make it faster and easier to read/parse at a glance - We show images in a lot more places, so you can see if a place is worth stopping for - Improvements to the search page - Bug fixes on the submission page with the picker automatically closing - Have you met Scout yet? You'll be seeing him more as spring arrives In the coming weeks and months we'll be adding more landmarks, enhancements to the city pages to make them more useful and easier to consume and making the app a lot more fun to use. We made some big changes to tours!

You can now search for cities and jump straight to them on the map, making trip planning easier than ever. We’ve also fixed an issue with downloading the full database, along with a few smaller bugs to improve overall performance.

Added over 40k historical markers, "Today in History" and improved the city details page for better representation of whats nearby!

- We added a 'contribute' tab to make submitting new markers easier than ever. - The app now denotes free vs paid features. - You can now share markers and they will open directly into the app.
