Brushing check-in
You will receive an assessment of your technique after the first time you brush your teeth. This will provide a starting point to track improvements to your oral health routine over time.
Real-time brushing guidance
The Sonicare app checks your habits, like if you're reaching all the areas of your mouth, how long you brush or how much pressure you're using, and coaches you with tailored advice. This coaching helps to ensure consistent, complete coverage every time you brush.
Dental Diary
The Dental Diary helps you track all of your oral health habits in one place – brushing, flossing, tongue cleaning and mouth rinsing – so you can spot trends and build a consistent routine.
Brushing Streak
The Brushing Streak feature helps motivate you to brush at least twice daily – morning and night – as recommended by dentists to prevent plaque build-up.
Dashboard
The Dashboard syncs with your Sonicare toothbrush to collect and display your brushing habits. You receive an easy-to-read report with insights to help support and improve your oral health.
Brush head monitoring
Automatically know when it's time to replace your brush head. Bristles wear out and start losing effectiveness after about three months, so having a fresh replacement ensures the best cleaning.
Automatic brush head reordering service
Always have a fresh brush head when you need one. As the Sonicare app checks your brush head's usage, the reordering service reminds you when you need a replacement, and can automatically place an order so it arrives just in time. The brush head smart reordering service is available in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, Italy and Japan.
Connect with Apple Health
When you link the Sonicare app to the Apple Health app, you can track your brushing habits along with the rest of your health data.

I love Philips products and I love Sonicare toothbrushes but this app is ridiculous! Constantly loosing connection with the brush. No overview over the brushes you have active - just the one that’s on the device now. No way to customize your way of brushing - you need to literally run through the processes if you try to follow the instructions displayed. If you are a bit slow or spend a second more on the section - the app is already ahead and is not recognizing your brushing. There is no overview or comparison of your progress. You need to do some wrist yoga to be able to twist in a way the app to recognize you are brushing your inner teeth side. No more than one goal, nope! You want gum health and plague removal- sorry app doesn’t support two goals running on the same time. Ok you think let’s settle with one goal only! Surpriseeeeee, the goal is offering you five activities to focus on but sorry you can choose only three of them, nevertheless they are all good and building a healthy habits. Huge huge disappointment!!
Works great… for a while

The app worked great for about a month with a brand new DiamondClean handle. Then something happened and it no longer syncs the brushing sessions. Syncing progress stays at 10% and then fails. And even in the rare cases when it succeeds, no new brushing sessions appear in the dashboard. Countless times forgetting/pairing the handle, adding it as a new handle or even removing and reinstalling the app seem to be of no help.

Terrible app

You need to open the app and sync your toothbrush daily. Otherwise after two, three days of not syncing, the Bluetooth connection fails and you need to pair it again, loosing all your progress. Very frustrating. Also the information presented by the app is pretty much useless. UX and UI are insanely bad.
