I’ve been using it for years. It’s amazing, I simply love it! It’s just one of those ideas that you stumble upon and you’re like “darn, why didn’t I think of that ?!”.

Hey there! We had a bug in our back-end system, that accidentally prevented this from happening. This should be resolved now, and you don't have to give a location if you don't want to. Very sorry for the issue here, and we are not collecting everyone's home location at all. The "Untappd at Home" venue is a global venue and doesn't require you to give you location specifically. Again - apologies for the issue.

The only major drawback is that an application that is a benchmark for beer fans and gained popularity around that, was later changed to an application for all kinds of drinks (Coca-Cola and the like) in order to make more profits. This is an ugly and greedy decision by the creators!
