New in 1.2: training days with their own targets, and Balanza now speaks nine languages. Balanza is a free calorie counter with a photo. Take a picture of your plate, describe it in words or scan a barcode, and the AI works out the calories, protein, carbs, fat, fibre and calcium for you. No typing, no searching through databases. A DAILY TARGET THAT ADJUSTS ITSELF Answer a few questions and Balanza works out your daily calorie and protein target. Then it does what no static calculator does: every week it compares what you logged with how your weight actually moved, and corrects the target. Your body is the measurement, not a formula. TRAINING DAYS A second set of daily targets for the days you train. One tap under the date switches the day to a training day, and the ring turns blue. Tap the middle of the ring to switch between calories left and calories eaten. A FOOD DIARY BY MEAL Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, each with its own card. Saved meals for the things you eat again and again, and a personal food list that learns from you: the second time you type a food you already logged, the answer is instant and free. Popular local dishes from your country answer instantly and free too, when you search or describe a meal. WEIGHT AND WAIST TRENDS A weigh-in a day, a smoothed trend that ignores the daily noise, an estimated date for your goal, and a weekly overview in plain sentences: what you ate, how the weight moved, and what seems to have had an effect. INTERMITTENT FASTING WITHOUT A TIMER The fast is measured straight from your diary: it starts after the last food you logged and ends with the next one. Nothing to start, nothing to stop. SET IT UP YOUR WAY Metric or imperial units, your choice of the first day of the week, and the hour a diary day starts, handy if you eat late at night. NO ACCOUNT, NO SIGN-UP Your data is tied to an anonymous id only. A recovery code brings it back on a new phone. Export everything to a file whenever you want, delete everything in one tap. NINE LANGUAGES English, Spanish, Portuguese, Romanian, Greek, Hungarian, Bulgarian, Slovak and Arabic, switchable in Settings. COMPLETELY FREE No subscription and no paid features.
