Photo Upload When enabled, allows the player to enter their own score, select their Marker, and take a photo of their physical scorecard, all submitted back to the club. These scores don't require marker approval and are submitted to the CDH automatically. Works best where players enter scores via multiple methods — HowDidiDo, PSI and by an Admin. Playing Partners Upcoming tee time bookings now display your playing partners, making it easier to see who you're playing with at a glance. Competition Eclectic Submission For clubs using an Accumulated Eclectic linked to a competition, members will now be prompted to choose whether they would like their competition score to be included in their Eclectic. Club Documents We've improved support for a wider range of file types, making it easier to view club documents within the app. Bill Improvements We've refined how member balances are updated when using the "Show Bill From" setting. Balances will now only be updated once the bill becomes available to the member. We've also added the Bill Number and Bill Date to the bill details screen for greater visibility. General Play Scoring Improvements General Play score submissions now support union-specific submission delays. We've also added Stableford points alongside gross scores during score entry and attestation. Competition Results Improvements The Competition Summary has been reintroduced, and player playing handicaps are now shown within competition results. Auto Top Up Improvements Members can now edit their Auto Top Up rules and payment method, as well as remove saved cards linked to Auto Top Up. We've also improved the setup experience when creating a new Auto Top Up. Booking Improvements The countdown timer is now available for competition bookings. We've also made several enhancements to the locking and unlocking of tee times across both competition and casual bookings. Plus many other enhancements and bug fixes! Aggregate Results Aggregate competition results will now be available throughout HowDidiDo. Golfers will be able to view them directly from their club’s Competition Results list, as well as within the All Rounds section of their handicap record. Club Finder Club Finder will allow golfers to search for clubs, view club profiles and access key information including contact details, website links, competition results and member directories, all from one convenient location. Coming soon, golfers will also be able to view upcoming Open Competitions and access a player's handicap record directly from the club profile. As these new features increase the visibility of player information, we recommend reviewing your privacy settings in HowDidiDo > Profile > Preferences > Privacy to ensure they reflect your preferences. The Open Medal presented by One Club The first of our new HowDidiDo Community Challenges (formerly known as Sponsored Competitions). The Open Medal is a challenge run in partnership with One Club, The R&A's official membership programme, bringing a taste of both the Women's and Men's Open Championships to golfers across the UK&I. The challenge runs from Open to Open, launching in August 2026 and continuing through to May 2027, with a winter break between November and February. Prizes will be awarded across six active months, completely free to enter, with two winners crowned each month — one male, one female. How Do We Beat It in support of Prostate Cancer UK We're pleased to announce that How Do We Beat It is returning for its ninth year in August! This virtual charity competition has raised over £280k for Prostate Cancer UK to date and will once again be free to enter for all HowDidiDo members via the new HowDidiDo app. The format remains the same: a season-long virtual eclectic competition where the more golfers play, the more they're rewarded, with a chance to compete in a once-in-a-lifetime Grand Final event.
