KIPTV — IPTV Player
Your IPTV, finally done right.
Free · In-App Purchases · Designed for iPad
Your IPTV playlists have never looked this good.
Films, shows & live TV in cinema quality. Download, watch offline, pick up from any device.
KIPTV turns your IPTV playlists into a cinematic experience. Connect your Xtream Codes or M3U providers and unlock a world of films, TV shows, and live channels through an interface designed to make you forget you're using an IPTV player.
CRAFTED WITH CARE
KIPTV doesn't look like an IPTV player. It looks like the app you've always wanted. Every screen is crafted down to the smallest detail: artwork loads beautifully, animations feel smooth and natural, everything flows effortlessly from one view to the next. The interface adapts seamlessly to iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV, and it's already ready for the new Liquid Glass look in iOS 26. Open it once and you'll feel the difference.
BROWSE IN STYLE
Every title is automatically enriched with HD posters, synopses, cast, trailers, and age ratings thanks to integration with the world's largest film database. Browse by genre, discover the week's trending titles in the hero carousel, or search across all your content — films, shows, channels, actors, and TV programmes — from a single search bar.
THREE VIDEO ENGINES, ZERO HASSLE
KIPTV packs three playback engines with automatic switching when something doesn't play. If a format won't work with one engine, the app switches to the next — no action needed on your part. Supports HLS, MP4, MKV, AVI, RTSP, and virtually every format out there.
LIVE TV WITH PROGRAMME GUIDE
Watch live TV with a built-in EPG: see what's on now, what's coming next, and browse the full programme guide in grid or timeline view. Smart grouping of similar channels and up to 7 days of replay for channels with archives. Set reminders so you never miss a show.
PICK UP WHERE YOU LEFT OFF
Your watch progress syncs automatically to the cloud across all your devices. Start a film on iPhone and pick it up on Apple TV, or the other way around. The next episode plays automatically — binge without interruptions.
DOWNLOAD & WATCH OFFLINE
Download films and individual episodes to watch without a connection. On a plane, on the underground, off the grid. The app detects when you're offline and automatically switches to offline mode with all your downloaded content.
YOUR SPACE, YOUR RULES
Organise your favourites with custom tags. Hide categories you don't care about. Reorder everything the way you like. Protect content with PIN-based parental controls. Choose from over 20 avatars for each profile and manage up to 5 playlists with a Premium Plus subscription.
ON THE BIG SCREEN
Cast to your TV with built-in Chromecast or stream to your Apple TV via AirPlay. Use Picture-in-Picture to keep watching whilst you browse. On Apple TV, your content appears right on the Top Shelf.
SUBTITLES IN EVERY LANGUAGE
Search and download subtitles in any language. Customise font, size, colour, and position. Closed captions for the hearing impaired included.
FOR THOSE WHO APPRECIATE THE DETAILS
Incognito mode. Manual engine selection for VOD and live separately. Configurable network buffer. Custom HTTP user agent. Adjustable content and EPG cache.
Start free. Go Premium when you're ready.
KIPTV is a media player. The app does not provide, host, or distribute any content. Users are solely responsible for the content played through their own playlists.

more • Welcome, iPhone Duo
Folded and propped up, the video stays above the fold and the controls below, with Night mode. Detail pages and covers split around the fold too.
• Subtitles only when you need them
With “When audio is in another language”, subtitles turn on by themselves for films in their original language and stay off for dubbed ones.
• Sleep timer
From the player menu, pick how many minutes until it stops, or the end of the film or episode: the volume fades out and the video closes.
• Quality, size and language of every copy
When choosing a version you see each file's real quality and size, and the detail page tells you which language the audio is in.
• Aspect ratio
Pick Original, Fill, Stretch, 4:3 or 21:9 in the player to fit the picture to your screen.
• Recommendations from your playlist only
On detail pages, and now in the player while you watch a series, “More Like This” only shows titles you can open and watch.
• Link to playlist
If a title isn't recognised, search for it in your playlist from its detail page and link it with one tap, along with its copies.
• The PIN protects Home and playlists
Parental Controls can ask for the PIN to edit the Home, and the Settings PIN also covers editing or deleting a playlist.
• Easier pause and skips on live TV
On channels with replay, pause, jump back and forward by a minute, and get back to the live broadcast with “Return to Live”.
• Aether engine updated
Aether engine updated to 7.47.0: 4K films are steadier on single-connection servers, and live channels start with picture and sound together.
• Replay of the whole archive
Every day your provider has recorded opens, in 4-hour blocks where the guide doesn't reach, and at the right time even with the server in another time zone.
• The plot of every episode
In the Guide and in the player, the plot comes from your provider's guide, episode by episode, before TMDB's general one.
• Smoother with large catalogues
The guide gets ready up to 15 times faster and huge playlists use less memory, without closing the app any more.
• The K while you wait
While loading, instead of the spinner, the K of the logo lights up in turn in your theme's colours.
• Handier downloads
From the Downloads page, a downloaded film opens its detail page, with Play and the point where you left off.
• Xtream addresses that fix themselves
If the address has an extra port or http and https swapped, the app tries the variants and saves the one that works.
• Your names in the player too
Categories and channels you've renamed show your names in the Live player too.
• Better title recognition
One-word titles no longer disappear behind the provider's tags.
• Minor bug fixes
3.8 23 min ago
• Simkl, alongside Trakt
Connect Simkl from Tracking services: what you watch goes to Simkl, and watched items, progress and your watchlist come back to KIPTV.
• Automatic version choice
Movies, series and channels with several versions start from the right one: in the app's language, with the quality, stability or data saving you prefer. Turn it on in Settings.
• The real quality of channels
KIPTV checks every version of a channel and shows its real quality instead of the provider's label, plus which versions are off air.
• A theme for each playlist
Colour and background can apply to the open playlist only: handy if you use playlists as profiles.
• The next episode, in sight
Once you've watched the latest episode out, the series stays at the end of Continue Watching with the next episode's date.
• Your tags in Live and in the player
My List tags get their own group in the Live picker, and you can browse them from the player without leaving the channel.
• Search your playlist
When a title isn't recognised, a button on its page opens Search with the name already typed and also suggests the original title.
• Search categories
A field at the top of the Live category picker, for providers with hundreds of categories.
• My List in one tap
With a single list the button adds straight away, and a bookmark on posters shows what's already in your list.
• Subtitles up to 30 seconds
Subtitle delay now goes up to ±30 seconds in 1-second steps, to line up even badly out-of-sync subtitles.
• Faster, lighter playlists
Playlists reopen from a database on your device and Trending arrives sooner: less waiting, less memory, no crashes with huge catalogues.
• Faster search
Search is faster on large catalogues and, while it works, shows “Searching…” instead of an early “No results”.
• Aether engine updated
Aether engine updated to 7.38.1: films start sooner, zapping is sturdier, and seeking and resume work again on stricter providers.
• Downloads in the background too
Downloads keep going with the app closed, and downloaded titles always show up in offline mode.
• Your playlists don't disappear
On a shaky connection the picker no longer shows just “Add”: it says it couldn't load them and retries on its own.
• Cleaner titles
Tags between bars like |NL| or |MULTI| in front of names are gone, and titles written as fields separated by “|” are recognised.
• More consistent Trakt
Trakt watched marks and badges match across the detail page, posters and devices, even when marking a series from its page.
• More reliable M3U playlists
Films, series and channels in an M3U are recognised the same way on every device, and large lists open much faster.
• No more slowdowns after the player
After closing a film or episode, Home and Continue Watching stay smooth.
• Minor bug fixes
3.7 17 Oct
• Movies and series in Multiview
While watching live channels, you can now add movies and series to the Multiview too.
• More Like This in the player
While you watch a movie, the new More Like This tab shows similar movies from your playlist.
• Audio and subtitles for the whole series
The language you pick on one episode applies to the next ones too and follows you to your other devices.
• All channels in one list
A per-playlist option adds an "All channels" entry to Live: every category in a row, in your order.
• Where you left off, on the poster
Movies you started but didn't finish show a progress bar on the poster, in every grid and carousel.
• Simpler support tickets
Opening a ticket is one question at a time: you choose which devices it happens on and, from a phone or tablet, you can attach a video.
• Faster reopening
If the system closes KIPTV in the background, within an hour you're back where you were in a couple of seconds, without reloading the playlist.
• Continue Watching follows Trakt
A series already in the row moves ahead with episodes marked on Trakt too, and a note in settings explains what goes in the row.
• Better online subtitles
OpenSubtitles results with the most positive votes come first, in the same order on every device.
• Aether engine updated
Aether engine updated to 7.32.1: skipping in movies and episodes works even with providers that reject the first request.
• General UI/UX improvements
• More titles recognised
Correct artwork and plots for more movies and series, even with double or translated names; your manual correction now applies to Trending too.
• Movies that wouldn't start
If a movie doesn't start, KIPTV switches to another engine right away instead of retrying the same one forever.
• No more double audio with PiP
Opening a movie while the PiP window is active now closes the window instead of letting it play underneath.
• Player buttons on iOS 18
On iOS 18, player buttons respond across their whole area and the bars can be dragged again.
• Correct resolution badge
Widescreen movies are no longer shown one level lower, such as a 4K labelled FHD.
• Minor bug fixes
3.6 10 Oct
• Resume in any version
Start a movie in FHD and reopen it in 4K or another language, and you pick up where you left off. Works for series episodes too.
• Clearer connection errors
If a playlist won't open, KIPTV tells you the real reason (server unreachable, access blocked, subscription expired…) and what to try.
• Aether engine updated
Aether engine updated to 7.25.0: faster channel switching on live TV, and Multiview tiles no longer interfere with each other.
• Faster downloads

On iPad and Mac, the player's buttons, text and bar are larger and better spaced.
• General UI/UX improvements
• Right-to-left languages
In Arabic and Urdu, text, menus and arrows now follow the right direction throughout the app.
• Translations completed
Durations, player text and phrases that were still untranslated now appear in your language.
• Trakt watchlist without duplicates
Watchlist titles no longer appear twice, and if you have several versions, tapping one asks which to open.
• Minor bug fixes
3.5 1 Oct
• The player opens with a zoom
The image you tap, from a detail page, a poster or Continue Watching, grows into the player and goes back to its place when you close it.
• Soundtrack on the detail page
Films and series show their soundtrack album: preview the tracks and open it in Apple Music, Spotify or YouTube Music.
• New KIPTV font
A new font for a better UI. If you prefer your device's typeface you can use it instead of the KIPTV one; your choice applies to all your devices.
• Longer Home carousels
Carousels by genre, platform and personalised feeds now go up to 1000 titles instead of stopping at 200.
• General UI/UX improvements
• Pause works while loading
If the video stops to load mid-playback, the play/pause button now pauses instead of doing nothing.
• Player bar in right-to-left languages
In Arabic and other right-to-left languages, dragging the bar moves forward and back in the right direction.
• Minor bug fixes
3.4 25 Sept
• The title's artwork while it loads
While a film or episode starts, you see its artwork instead of a black screen, fading into the video as soon as it begins.
• A richer progress bar
It shows how much video has already loaded and marks the intro, recap and end credits in yellow.
• Preview while you scrub
With the Aether engine, scrubbing the bar shows the frame where you'll land.
• Sign in with a code on iPhone and iPad
You can sign in to your account without a password by confirming a code on another device where you're already signed in.
• Playlists keep loading in the background
You can leave the app while a playlist loads: loading carries on and the Dynamic Island shows its progress.
• More varied recommendations
The row now also draws on your list and the titles you've finished, and changes every day.
• More films recognised
Improved TMDB matching.
• Films and series more stable on Aether
Aether engine updated to 7.15.0: with providers that refuse reconnections, playback no longer gets stuck on the spinner.

With Aether, the audio track and subtitles you pick for a film or episode come back when you reopen it.
• Volume visible with the buttons
Pressing the volume buttons in the player shows the level, even with the controls hidden.

Switching channels with the VLC engine could close the app abruptly, right after the video started.

Wordmark and icons redrawn across every platform.

• Image subtitles visible on Aether
PGS, DVB and VobSub tracks did not always appear.
• Live channels back where they belong
On some providers the channel list came up empty because of the format of the date added.

Age ratings are no longer hand-drawn shapes: you now see the genuine marks of the classification boards from all the world's major countries.
• Choose which tabs you see, and in what order
In Settings › Display you decide which tabs appear and how they're arranged: Movies, Series and Live move wherever you like. The page is split into named sections, and "Recently added" now switches on separately for films and for live TV.
• Audio and subtitle delay with Aether too
Audio and subtitle delay now works on the Aether engine as well.
• The guide ID can be typed in by hand
If your provider serves a channel's schedule under an ID that isn't in the list, you can now type it in and assign it directly. Reopen the picker and you'll find it ticked, even if the catalogue doesn't list it.
• Support tells you when a fix is on its way
Days pass between a fix being ready and it reaching your device. Tickets now have a "Fix on the way" status naming the version that will carry it: it stays open, you can still write, and it closes itself when that version ships.
• Aether engine updated
Aether engine updated to 6.85.0: live channels start much faster.
• "Recently added" no longer repeats the same title
Providers load the same film into several categories or qualities, and the row ended up showing the same title over and over. The row now groups the copies and shows only the main title, with a badge counting how many there are.
• Player fixes
On catch-up and replay content the scrubber works again and, after an error, the channel no longer falls into a reload loop that drained the provider's connections and forced you to restart the app. Aether's subtitles no longer linger on screen while the video is paused, and appear at the right moment. On MPV the frame counter no longer doubles its value on interlaced streams.
• The version picker responds where you see it
In the fan of cards showing a title's versions, each card's touch area didn't match where it was drawn: with many versions you ended up hitting the wrong card, or nothing at all.
• Improved metadata matching algorithm
• UI fixes on iOS/iPadOS/tvOS 27
On iPad and Mac the avatar and the "..." button return to their place in the top bar instead of wrapping below the tabs, and the avatar is round again. The large image atop detail pages reaches the edge without the blurred cut that appeared with the new OS, the Live categories panel shares its background with the list, and edit panels close as soon as you tap Save.
3.1 15 Sept

The row updates right after you close the player, resume works across devices for series too, and when a new episode is out you get "Resume SxEy" instead of "Watch again".

Manually pick the correct programme guide for each channel and adjust the EPG time offset.
• Faster, lighter programme guide
Very large EPG guides now load faster and use less memory.
• Smoother Live TV
Opening channels and browsing the guide are more responsive on iPhone and Apple TV, with automatic recovery of frozen live channels.

• Welcome, iPhone Duo
