Viavio is the patient app for connected acute care, helping Emergency Department clinical teams assess, guide and support patients across physical and virtual care pathways. Through the Viavio app, patients can securely provide information about their symptoms and medical history, complete digital assessments, capture and share vital signs, join video consultations, receive notifications and stay connected with their clinical team. Information submitted through the app is made available to the hospital’s Viavio clinical platform, enabling authorised clinicians to review each patient, monitor their progress and coordinate the appropriate next stage of care. Depending on clinical need, this may include virtual emergency assessment, home observation, diagnostics, a short-stay unit or attendance at the physical Emergency Department. Key features include: - Secure digital registration and patient intake - Symptom and health-information collection - Digital clinical assessments - Capture and sharing of vital signs - Video consultations and secure communication - Care instructions, updates and notifications - Ongoing clinical review and monitoring - Support across virtual and physical acutecare pathways Viavio is available to patients using participating healthcare services.
