using wego because booking direct is not always the cheapest optionContent:a friend recently introduced me to wego app when i was planning a trip for my family, and i'm very satisfied with his recommendation. i usually book direct with the airlines because i thought it was the cheapest way, so i was very surprised that i found better rates on wego and saved some money for the trip. i have also tried booking hotels on the app, and sometimes i faced some issues with hotel rates not matching what i was shown in wego app.

Worst experience among all booking apps

I had a really bad experience with Wego, and honestly it made my travel planning much more stressful than it should have been.I booked my flight through the app, thinking everything was confirmed, only for the booking to be cancelled without any clear reason. Because of that, I had to go directly to the airline’s website and book the same flight again, but by that time the price had already gone up.What makes this experience worse is that travel bookings are not something simple or casual. People plan their trips around these bookings, arrange their schedules, hotels, transportation, and sometimes even important personal or work commitments. When an app accepts a booking and then cancels it without proper clarity or responsibility, it can completely ruin the customer’s experience and cost them more money.A travel app should make the process easier, safer, and more reliable — not create uncertainty, stress, and extra expenses. Unfortunately, this experience made me lose trust in Wego. Not to mention the bad customer service, I had to wait 45 minutes to find a live chat agent!

New update

The new update is very bad. The booing is made very difficult. Previously, you can see and book the full round trip and know the full price. Now, you must book the departure flight and return flight separately. Then you will find unacceptable price. You must repeat everything again to find suitable flight and price. I was always booking with Wego, unfortunately I had to shift to another applications.

Developer Response
We’re sorry to hear that the recent update has made your booking experience more difficult Ehsan. We understand your concerns regarding the changes to the round-trip search and pricing, especially as you have been a long-time Wego user. Not only that, but we truly appreciate your feedback and will make sure it is shared with the relevant team.
