Description

The Multilateral Naval Exercise MILAN has been traditionally conducted as a biennial event in Andaman and Nicobar group of Islands since 1995. The first edition of MILAN saw the participation of four countries. Since then, the event has grown manifold and has gained in popularity, with a total of 17 countries participating in the previous edition of MILAN in 2022.

This year, the Indian Navy has decided to enhance the scope of the exercise and also allow for more number of countries to participate in the exercise and therefore it has been decided to conduct this event at Visakhapatnam in Feb 2024.
