You can now draw the track itself (ballast, sleepers and rails) when the map is zoomed in (turn it on under Settings → Display; tracks can also glow in the line color). Trains now run on separate tracks in each direction. Where there are four tracks, trains that stop at every station use the tracks with platforms. You can now set lines to single or double track. ・Under a line's "Line settings" → "Track (single & passing)", you can switch between double and single track and choose passing stations. Your own lines can be single track too ・On single track, trains wait at passing stations for oncoming trains ・On mostly single-track lines, the interval and times are calculated so trains pass each other at passing stations (these lines run fewer trains) ・Train details show where and how long a train waits, and station timetables mark these trains with ◆ While driving or following a train, "Selected lines" shows only that train's line. While driving, the train button at the top lets you end driving. In 3D satellite view, lines and trains now stay closer to the tracks in the photo. Flickering of train bodies and tracks is reduced. In some regions, you can now change your ad privacy settings. We have also updated the rail data for Japan.

You can now drive a running train (Drive mode). ・Start from "Drive" in a train's details (auto-generated, through and your own timetable trains) ・Use the lever to speed up and slow down, and stop at each station. See how far you stopped from the mark, the scheduled times and any delay, and your ride score ・Choose from 8 camera positions and 4 angles, or drive in 2D (top-down) ・You start in Auto: the train drives itself to the timetable and stops at each station (touch the lever to take over) Zoomed-in trains are now drawn with 3D models, with lighting and shadows (turn off "High-quality car bodies" in Settings to go back to the previous style). You can now switch to satellite imagery with the button on the right of the map. * In tilted 3D satellite view, lines and trains may appear off the tracks near tall buildings. In 2D they line up with the photo. You can now create your own timetables (train nodes) for a section of a line, and have auto-generated trains run only within a section. We have updated the rail data for Japan (fixed lines where trains didn't reach the last station, and more). Fixed a bug where trains could appear to leave the track or bend when the map is zoomed in.

- Rail data for countries outside Japan is now available to download: Europe (Switzerland, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Norway, Türkiye), Asia (South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore), North America (United States, Canada) and Oceania (Australia, New Zealand). - Use it on the map, in search and details, with trains, and for your own lines and timetables, just like Japan. - Requires a World Rail Packs subscription (monthly or yearly), with a one-week free trial for new subscribers. Rail data for Japan is still free. - More car designs: 19 shapes, including steam and diesel locomotives, sightseeing trains and Shinkansen-style noses, and 13 paint styles, including a colored roof, colored doors and pinstripes. - Updated the rail data for Japan (added lines and stations, fixed station order and more). - Fixed bugs that could make the app close unexpectedly.

- Car designs: zoom in and trains are drawn as car bodies, including passing trains. - Create designs with a shape, paint style and colors, and assign them (with the number of cars) to a line, service pattern, timetable or single train. Trains without a design use their line color. - Car designs go along when you send a work. - Choose the camera direction (8 directions) and angle while following a train. Following continues until you tap "Stop following". - The train you select or start following glows briefly.

- Extend existing lines: pick a line and one of its end stations, then draw onwards. The line's trains run through to the end of your extension. - Automatic trains can now run through onto other lines (choose how many, which type and what time of day). - The app can now be shown in English, including station, line and company names. - Update the contents of a link you sent before, and find your sent links in iCloud. - Trains run more naturally: slower trains wait for faster ones, and loop lines run lap after lap. - On iPad, settings and editing screens open larger. - Other bug fixes and display improvements.
