Peak bagging is here
Walk over a summit with a recording running and HiiKER bags it for you. Munros, Wainwrights, Corbetts and hundreds of lists besides: see everything you've climbed in My Peaks, watch a list fill up, and find where you stand on its leaderboard. Free, for everyone.
Augmented Reality Peak Viewer
Hold your phone up and the Peak Viewer labels the mountains in front of you with their names, heights and distances, and shows which ones you've already bagged. It locks onto the skyline your camera sees and stays there as you pan.
Turn-by-turn guidance while you walk
Your planned route now talks you through it: a turn banner on the recording screen, spoken aloud, arrows on the map at every turn, a directions list for the whole walk, and the same on your Apple Watch. It works with no signal and tells you out loud if you stray off route. Included with HiiKER PRO.
Widgets and watch complications
Open the map, start a recording or find a hike in one tap from your Home Screen, Lock Screen or watch face, and keep this month's distance, elevation and hike count on your Home Screen.
Your heart rate on every recording
Record with your Apple Watch and the recording shows your average, max and min heart rate.
Download a whole list in one go
Every route up a mountain, or a whole list of hikes, now downloads as one thing: one card, one size, managed and deleted together.
Also in this update
• Bagged peaks are celebrated on your recording's 3D flyover
• A profile led by your totals, with your leaderboard placings and a PRO+ badge
• The planner opens straight onto your route, with a hint for each step
• Copy any hike into your planned hikes
• Share a point of interest with a link that opens in HiiKER
• Manage Subscription shows what your next renewal will cost
• New 50 m and 25 m off-route sensitivities, with 50 m now the default
• The points of interest you pick stay on across every map
• A redesigned map options sheet, and a Download / Directions / More / Start bar on the recording screen
• PRO+ video options when you share a flyover
• European Portuguese, fully translated
• Many Apple Watch fixes: maps load straight away, and routes and recordings stay in step with your phone

See where you are on the elevation profile
The route profile now marks your live position, on the hike overview, while you record, and in the planner — so you can see the climb still ahead at a glance.
Waypoints you can read at a glance
Waypoints grow as you zoom in and show their names right on the map, so you no longer have to tap a pin to find out what it is. Turning them on is remembered too — switch tabs or restart the app and they're still there.
A print queue that keeps up
Print maps now show how many sheets are rendering and how far through a multi-page sheet you are, and a finished map appears on its own — no need to pull to refresh.
Better sharing
The share card opens full screen with a clear title, and Share Link now opens the system share sheet as well as copying the link.
Tidy up your activity
Clear your Recent Activity list whenever you like.
Also fixed
• Importing a GPX file with a lot of waypoints could hang the app.
• Resuming a recording at launch now opens the recording page, instead of leaving you on the home screen.

What's new in 26.91:
• Share a review of your hike or recording to friends directly from the app.
• Turn a hike into a Trail Trailer: a 3D video of the route, shareable straight from the 3D preview and kept in My Flyovers.
• Redesigned place, waypoint and highlight sheets — clearer type, distance and coordinates, and Street View only where there's actually imagery.
• Multi-day hikes now show the itinerary's own day count instead of a pace estimate, with a new setting that follows you across devices.
• Deleted a recording by mistake? It now waits in the Recordings bin for 7 days, even if it was deleted on another device.
• Plus a long list of fixes: map labels, GPX imports, paused-time on the elevation chart, the planner, print maps and downloads.

Pick up where you left off :hiking_boot:
Cut a recording short? Continue it from exactly where it ended — even one you'd
already saved. And if you discarded one you shouldn't have, Recently Discarded is
quietly holding it for you.
Print maps, right here
Your print maps now open in the app. Print them, share them, admire them.
Faster flyovers
3D previews start almost instantly instead of making you wait for the whole video.
Tidier lists
Sort your recordings however you like, and find everything under one friendly "+".
Better offline
Your downloads are stored more sturdily, so they're there when the signal isn't.
And a pile of small fixes
Steadier map, straighter double-tap zoom, a Watch map that remembers your zoom,
honest error messages, and your hiiker.com unit settings finally following you
into the app.
Happy hiking!

Import GPX from your lists. Got a GPX file? Import it straight from your Hikes or Recordings list and it becomes a new hike or recording in two taps. No detours.
My Stats has landed. Lifetime distance, ascent and time, your biggest milestones, and a year-by-year breakdown — all in your units.
Edit your own hikes. Spotted a typo in that route you uploaded at 11pm? Fix it right from the hike overview.
Closure warnings. If a trail has a reported closure, you'll see it on the overview — not at a locked gate.
Tidier overlays. Heatmaps at the top of the list, the same order as the website, and your completed trails finally draw above the HiiKER trails layer.
Recordings that don't get stuck. Retry a failed upload, or discard a recording straight from the save screen.
Happy trails.

GPX in, GPX out: Export any recording as a GPX file, and import guide routes straight into your recordings.
Live Locator goes long: Let loved ones know you'll be back in 24, 48, or 72 hours — built for thru-hikes.
Never lose a step: We now auto-restore unsaved recordings if your app or phone quits mid-hike.
A smoother map: Distance markers thin out as you zoom, panning is buttery-smooth, and waypoints stay put when you switch styles.
Safer taps: Clearing your cache now asks twice, and off-route warnings hush the moment you finish recording.
Plus a fresh new look and a stack of fixes. Happy trails!

- :clapper: Your hikes now get a cinematic 3D flyover that frames your whole route, buttery-smooth — and it stays locked on the action even at top speed. Oscar pending.
- :card_index_dividers: Export in GPX, Garmin GPX, KML or GeoJSON, with filenames that actually make sense (dates and all).
- :white_check_mark: Filter your Completed Hikes — past glory, sorted.
- :lock: Pocket-proof your map: lock the screen so a rogue tap can't hijack your view mid-hike. Tap the button to unlock.
- :round_pushpin: Tap anywhere on an overview map to open it — not just the tiny corner button.
- :compass: Compass keeps its cool when you tap to go full screen.
- :hammer_and_wrench: Plus: fewer phantom "off-route" alerts (we only nudge you when you're actually wandering), a Celsius spelling rescue, and the usual polish.
